If you enjoy english, take Seydow. He's seriously a great guy who makes class fun and enjoys his subject. He's completely helpful 1 on 1 and never puts the students down. He's a hard grader, but if you pay attention to his comments, you'll do better on your next paper. I plan to take him for Lit next semester. Love this guy!

Seydow is great !! He is awfully energetic for an 8 am class but he is hysterical and such a nice man. Offers extra credit and all tests/quizzes are open book and open note. The time of the class at 8 is very discouraging but it is worth it !!!! I would wake up at 6 am for his class if i had to.

Dr. Seydow is a good teacher, he takes what I thought was going to be my most hated class and has made it interesting, He may be a little hard on grading, but it makes you a better reader and he is always dropping hints as to what's going to be on the test during class. If you pay attention and do the readings youll get no worse then a B.(4 tests)

dr. seydow is quite possibly my professor in the english department. he has a knack for inserting humor into otherwise dry material. his exams are challenging, but not impossible. if you read the assignments, you'll be just fine.

i had seydow for 2 ENG 108 N ENG 150 this semester, he is a great teacher n really funny, he loves to make fun of saint joe's, he is really nice but u have 2 work hard to due well in class, i didnt do as well in his writing class like i am used to but i really feel like i got the grade i deserved, might be hard but grades the way u should be graded

I was no fan of the authors we had to study, and I was intimidated since this was my first day class, but Dr. Seydow saw something in me that made him think to ask me how I liked the class, and he took my comments to heart! Great teacher, funny, and interesting! One of my absolute favorites!

Seydow is awesome. Best class I've had so far at La Salle. Very smart. I learned a lot and he makes class fun. Some say he is a little boring and he can go off on some story about his life for 20 minutes. But he is definetely worth taking. I will remember his class when I am old.

Seydow is a good guy and really funny, but he grades papers tough and based on his style. He doesn't allow you to write the way you like. If you suck up to him he'll be awesome to you. Write about things he likes and you'll do well. If you don't good luck because he can be very tough.
