I was finally able to pass Math 115! It was not easy, but professor Hovsepian pushed us through it! His way of teaching is phenomenal and he breaks it down for his students. Caring professor! Take him if you can!

Professor Hovsepian is incredibly patient and kind. He absolutely cares about his students. He will re-review material until you understand it. Goes over and beyond to help his students. His classes fill up quickly. I will be taking his Math 115 class. Great sense of humor. He's an engineer and teaches math part-time. Great professor.

Mr. Hovsepian's lectures are clear. He teaches step-by-step. If you do not understand a problem, don't be shy. He will make sure you understand the work. He is caring. WLA's final is from the math department, which is difficult. Low grade on the final with impact your overall grade. Wish they did not have a math department final

Absolutely fabulous professor. I have been dreading taking math for about 10 years, and after his class I found that I actually enjoy it! He is very clear, will answer any question you have, and he goes above and beyond to help you pass the class. He really cares about each student. Take him while you still can, I think he's retiring soon!!

This prof. saved my semester, he is a math major so he does go fast. Helps students more than he should goes above and beyond in my opinion. Great at what he does class attendance is mandatory if math is not your greatest subject. Would take again sad he doesn't teach STATS.

Professor Hovsepian is a great professor. Its not an easy class, but if you follow his advice, do your homework and study the quizzes for the test and final you will pass the class. If you don't understand something and ask for help he will help you. if you form a study group it will also help you.

Professor Hovsepian is an amazing professor!!!!!!!!!!!!! he is literally the best math professor i have ever had, he has a great sense of humor and will always help students until they understand it. I'm a student at SMC but I had to take math somewhere else due to the 3 attempt policy so I choose to come to West LA. I chooses Hovsepian because his class time was the most convenient for me. I'm so glad I chooses him. I passed the class w a B and I'm really bad at math. Take his class and I guarantee you will pass and actually learn. BEST PROF!

Years ago, I took Professor Hovsepian for Math 115. He really was fantastic!!, and kind too. You did.. get the impression that he wanted the class to succeed. Though math is not my strong suit, I worked my tail off to earn that B+, and actually cried when I saw it posted on the wall. With nothing to gain, I am posting this.

Best Math Instructor at West. This man loves teaching, but more importantly, he loves his students and wants to see all of us succeed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - if you have ever struggled in math. Mr. Hovespian will throw you the lifeline you need! I am not a math brain, but because of him I have the confidence to move to the next level.

Awesome teacher! I wish West LA gave him more hours! Very easy to understand. I cannot stress how clear, concise, and passionate he is about teaching. He helps and makes you understand! All professors should take note of his teaching skill! :-)
