Professor Manganel is a down to earth guy. He teaches eloquently and shows this through his use of PowerPoint slides in addition to the textbook, which helped me learn faster as I was reading each chapter. Your attendance, knowledge, work ethic, and willingness to succeed play a huge role in your grade. If you study hard and focus you'll do good!

He is a nice guy but he is a very tough grader. He cares about even little punctuation mistakes in order to cut marks from papers. NO MCQs. You have to write answers in paragraphs for all exams and quizes. But he helps in anything. He gives you a study guide and you just have to focus on that. I ended up with B+

Comment:

Prof Manganel is a pretty nice guy, he likes to make jokes here and there. Often gets off topic and is a bit confusing. His exams are extended response, he sometimes gives quizzes but also extended response, So you really have to pay attention and study. He is a pretty tough grader.

Awesome dude right here,great professor and is pretty funny IMO. He knew a decent amount about the subjects. HW was super easy and i never even got the text book. His test on the other hand were not difficult but graded harshly. I would recommend this guy in a heat beat. He even knew something about Albanians. Still Remembers me to 2013 Fall COR100

Tests are not easy - but not too hard. His questions can be a little confusing. Gave some multiple choice with essays this semester. Choices can be misleading! I managed a B with out studying! Is very reasonable if you have any conflicts or problems.I found him very helpful! I liked his Corny Jokes!
