Comment:
Professor Wittig is a great teacher with tons of enthusiasm! He is very helpful, kind, and funny. You have to keep up with the readings and notice the passages he examines in class (they mostly end up on the exams). He is nitpicky about wording in papers, but is willing to read your paper beforehand. He is a good teacher!

A very kind and funny professor. He gives off a grandfather-ish vibe, which makes you very comfortable. He does go through the books/readings in Engl 320 quickly, so you have to stay on top of your reading. If you do get behind on your reading, it becomes increasingly difficult to get caught up, but it's possible to still make a good grade even if

Very intelligent, and he definitely knows what he's talking about. However, if you aren't prepared for ridiculously hard midterms/finals, you may want to reconsider. Passage id's on old english lit are pretty ridiculous.

Very interesting class even though it was an 8 AM. He knows what he's talking about and tries to make sure everyone else understands as well. Great prof and a great class. I'd recommend it even if you're not looking into an English major.
