Comment:

I found that my Italian did not improve from her class. She spends most of the class talking, and is extremely dull when she teaches grammar. She will yell at you if you don't understand, but not out of anger or frustration. She's just like that. She's helpful if you see her out of class, but overall, meh.

At first I was intimidated, but she really isn't scary. She's just passionate about the subject matter and that can come across as intensity. Prof. Myerson is really a sweetheart when all is said and done. I think she almost gets too emotionally invested in the material at times because she's an empathetic person. She takes absences to heart.

Joyce is super sweet and very approachable.She can be verry boring though when it comes to grammar...Her favourite part of the class is discussion in Italian of course.She is like a friend or a grandma, really sweet once you are use to her teaching style.Go to her office if you need help,she is always available.Class is worth taking.

if she doesnt like you ur in trouble. she picks favorites and i know for certain that she boosts grades for those who she assumes derserve it. if you suck up its great and she'll love you if you dont she wont. she's also all over the place in terms of organization.worst teacher i have ever had at mcgill!

Wonderful prof. Easy-going and flexible, yet clear, organized, and efficient. Her class was very challenging, yet so enjoyable. She gets you up to a level you didn't know you were capable of, and remains wonderfully interested in her students even after they're no longer in her class. Completely bilingual and so helpful.
