I got a B in this class, without studying a single time. Granted I rarely have to study but hey, that's saying a lot about Bridges. She is a great and personable professor who explains things very thoroughly and makes it fun to learn. I would highly recommend that you take her for this class

Best teacher in the world! makes everything so clear! and their is also a lot of extra credit. she admited that she makes her test hard...and i think they were. but as long as you listen in class and study your good to go. youll wanna listen to her damn you guys she is awesome!!!! its hard getting into her class so good luck kids!

Says we need a textbook, but we never use it. She is super hyper and talks a lot. Don't take this class if you want to learn about sea creatures and marine life because she claim anything with a backbone is not her thing. She'll only cover topics relating to geology. Likes to make fun of students behind their backs. Wouldn't recommend.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER.... she is so excited to teach and loves what she does!!! She has NO problem making jokes or making fun or herself to teach the subject.... She really does everything she can to help you understand.... I would take her again in a heartbeat!!! BEST EVER, DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

CAN YOU SAY, BEST TEACHER IN THE WORLD!HAHA. She is truly an amazing and intelligent individual. I had her for Oceanography lecture and lab. You must be really stupid if you don't pass her class. Her class is easy and fun, just pay attention and ask for help. Challengning at times, but the course is a piece of cake. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I have never met a teacher with such energy as Karen, she makes the class a LOT of fun with her goofy faces and kind personality. Her kids are adorable (might see them on her laptop when she turns on the computer). She has a lot of extra credit that one can do to get points. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend her. I suggest taking the same teacher for lab

Great teacher, really energetic and keeps her subject interesting. Really knows her stuff. Brings in gues speakers, etc. I got an A in her class, I worked my butt off for it, but I got it. It's a hard subject so treat it accordingly, but Karen sure helps ease the pain.

Karen is an incredibly devoted teacher who has a passion for teaching (natural). Powerpoints are easy to understand, she always gives good examples and is really intelligent, caring and funny. I earned an A in lecture and a B in lab, but if I had studdied for lab could have earned an A. Recomend her 100%. No book needed & she is great! :) cute kids

Sweet person, but I don't recommend her for the lab.She missed so many classes and brought her kids too much.It was incredibly distracting for her to have them running around and asking questions while we were trying to learn.Nice lady, take her for the lecture portion, but not for the lab.

Greatest teacher ive ever taken for a science class!! Take her! There are no surprises, take notes and you will do great!! Just wait til she shows the moon and earth rotation its great! Karen is the BEST teacher at Mt. Sac by FAR!
