Prof Fanni is a really amazing professor, and he cares about students. The best thing is that he is interested in teaching students French. He is so patient and loves students to ask him questions.

Comment:

His classes are a bit boring, but I recommend going, since he likes you better if you attend. He does go over important material in his classes. He is very nice and gives incredible feedback on assignments. Lots of little assignments so grades are easy to keep high. You do have to keep up with the workload, tons of stuff to learn.

Comment:

M. Fanni is a great prof! He is very kind. He is a bit slow but takes the time to explain everything very clearly. The weekly online quizzes are long (take up to 2hrs) as are the exams. The course requires a lot of time outside of class. Overall easy content.

Comment:

While I may be in the minority as my course is heavily grammar-based, I love M. Fannis classes and hope to have him again, in future. He clearly cares about the subject and that makes the classes all the more enjoyable. On top of that, he is always thrilled to answer any extra questions I have after class. He also taught my mother, 28 years ago.

Kindest teacher ever. Most laid-back guy. Knows his stuff but rambles. Understanding if life events happen and you need extensions on assignments as long as you show effort for the rest of the time. Prepare though he is a super close-talker

Fanni is the sweetest prof I've ever had! He really cares about the success of each of his students and is willing to sit down with you until you understand the material. He's so dedicated to his students that he even updates them on french exchange and job opportunities. The material isn't hard and the exams are the same as the course work.

Comment:

Fanni is incredibly kind and caring and wants all of his students to succeed. He is a relatively easy marker and you can tell that he puts the time in to actually correct any assignements. A bit unorganized at times and the lectures can be a bit dry, but overall a good prof. Easy to do well in this class if you were good at French in highschool.

Mr. Fanni is a good prof, and seems to truly care about his students and their success. However, they seem to have just redesigned the course (1910) and it's pretty bad. The textbooks, written by the department head, are full of errors. The weekly quizzes are very long and so are the tests / exams. It's too bad about the course, Fanni is wonderful.

Prof Fanni is the best prof ever. He is really nice and ptience. As a international student, French is a liitle heave to me, but he helped me a lot. And the exam is really easy as long as you understand the material which is not diffictult because he teaches slow. Anyone can understand the lecture easily. Btw, the assignment is easy too.

M. Fanni is a really nice person. He genuinely cares about his students and wants everyone to do well. He can be unorganized at times, and you might learn the same things a few times over, but it's all for the best in the long run as it helps you remember things better. If you have a question, he's always around, tests are on the easy side of fair.

Fanni is helpful, but the way he explains french grammar, esp to a beginners french class, is confusing. I often found myself re-teaching concepts after class because I just didn't get it. It's ironic Intensive French is a beginners course, yet the pace of the class is suitable for someone who already knows the language. Do not take if not serious!

M. Fanni tends to get sidetracked quite easily. He shows up for class late, and is very disorganized. He is a slow marker, but an easy one. He genuinely cares about his students, but I wouldn't take his classes at higher than 1010 level.

Very good Prof and even better human being! He is good at what he does and he is very good with adapting to the class' level and teaching efficiently. He is EXTREMELY understanding and helpful when it comes to difficulties you may be having. He cares about your success in the course and cares about you as a human being! Amazing experience!!!!!

He is the most unorganized and sloppy profs I've yet to have. Seeing he is a french professor it concerns me that he makes so many errors. He even has the french head shadowing him and giving him her slides to teach with he's that terrible! Don't expect to learn much if you're enrolled in his class, I suggest taking french on main!
