Great at telling stories but that's it. He does not post anything on blackboard or canvas, including a syllabus. Had no idea what we were learning or when/how many exams we were responsible for. He has no structure including in his lectures which consist of pictures and stories, no written info. Have asked for help many of times and got IDK.

One of the best teachers Ive had at UNCW. He somehow made algae seem really interesting which is a feat its self. He is funny and interactive in class. This was the one of the few classes that I looked forward to. His test are straight forward and he does not look to trick you. IF you study for the exam you will do well.

He is super passionate about algae! It sounds like a boring class initially, but after listening to him lecture for a whole semester, I am more likely to be open to algae in the future because he makes it interesting! Tests are hard, just have to really pay attention and take detailed notes- details ARE on tests. Would take his class again.

Dr. Bailey is a funny guy. If you need to take this for Marine Bio, it's not awful. I think algae is boring, but he tries to make it pretty interesting. Tests are hard and he wants you to know every single detail of every reproductive cycle.

He is a great speaker. I love listening to his lectures and his jokes. Very interesting and really made the class worth it. He wasn't very easy in my opinion, but did inform me that if I took good notes I wouldn't need the custom book. Made a great grade and never bought the book. Take notes!

He was awesome in 202. 313 is much harder, but this class has more of a family feel to it because it's so much smaller and you can actually help each other in lab if needed. Lab is fun after you get the hang of things. Take the class, you won't be sorry.

Dr. Bailey is hilarious. I had him for BIO 202 as well as 495. He is way more dedicated at the higher level, but he taught 202 very effectively. A great teacher and a really nice guy.

Craig is definately the coolest teacher I have had so far! He has his way of doing things but it works. He keeps class interesting with his jokes and silly accents and I really learned a lot because I was so intrigued all the time.

Took a two of his classes a few years ago. Dr Bailey is one of the best teachers in the biology dept. His interest and knowledge of all things green is amazing. He does follow his own teaching methodologies, but I learned more from him than from any other teacher while at UNCW.

DR. BAILEY IS AWESOME! His lectures are very interesting, especially when he makes students do demonstrations of the material he is teaching. He also sometimes slips into various accents which is pretty amusing. His tests are easy if you pay attention in class. I liked Dr. Bailey's class so much, I'm taking BIO 313 with him next semester! :D

Really funny, he tries hard to make the class interesting. He teaches the plant section of bio 202 and it was very hard material, but he does everything he can to help you understand. He slips into a scottish accent sometimes, and has hilarious impersonations.

In phycology he was right there helping us the whole lab period. It's funny that only freshman seem to have a problemwith Craig,Just be in class and study. You will enjoy yourself!

Very easy if you pay complete attention to lecture. Doesn't have many text slides, so teaches alot off the top of his head. Exams were a little tricky, but not hard. Did all he could to offer review sessions before the exams.

I thought it was a relatively easy A. You definetly have to go to lecture, but information isn't difficult, explains it well most of the time. He often gets side tracked telling one of his stories so he's a little weird, but if you want to do well take his class not Chandler.
