I dont find him to be a very greta teacher. i had him at 8a which probably did not help much. but he put me to sleep everyday. he also was a sub for my math class and still didnt much favor him. i found the class super easy just because it was a review class

I had this class at 8am, which probably made it even worse. Dr. Turner is a nice guy, but nobody was able to keep their eyes open in that class. I think that if he had the students interact more, the class would be more interesting

Ugh...I used to get no lower than Bs in Math (I mean I took Pre-Calc and got and A), but since Turner's classes my grade sucks...He's a good person, but a bad teacher/prof.

Dr. Turner is a good teacher but not the greatest. He can be difficult to understand sometimes but he is willing to work with you on a one on one basis at any time.

You can tell that he knows the information, but he does not explain difficult concepts well at all. He is inconsistent with how he grades, jokingly laughs when a student doesn't understand something he feels should be easy, and is not very free outside of class to get extra help. I disagree with how he teaches and thinks he should retire.

Professor Turner sincerely cares about students and has a passion for what he teaches. I always found him very helpful and his corny jokes always made me laugh! If you are going to take Finite take Turner!!

Nice guy but very difficult to understand what he is trying to teach. I really don't think I would have understood anything he had said if it wasn't for the fact that I had already learned some of the information. It was really sad - I understood the material prior to taking the class and he somehow managed to confuse me. Not very helpful.

I strongly agree with all of the posted comments. Why would you give homework over concepts you haven't taught and then wonder why no one does the homework? Concepts were NEVER clearly explained; I pretty much learned nothing in this class except for how to perfect the art of doodling.

it is esentially impossible to follow Dr. Turner during class- if you can learn from the notes he gives you, you will be fine, otherwise you are in big trouble because he can't explain things
