Great teacher. Took his theater class. Had writing assignments, but plenty of time to finish them! Only one big presentation on chapter assignment, but was super easy. In class there where discussions or we watched plays. Participated in a play for our final Grade! Too much fun :)

Comment:

Great professor. He does give work but with enough time to complete it. I took him in the summer and we didn't always stay the whole time for class. He just used what time he needed. I wouldn't recommend him if you don't expect to do work and learn to give a proper speech.

Comment:

This class prepares you for college, writing papers, and life. Mr. Townsend teaches in a way that draws your intellect and courage foward. He gives critism in a wasy that lifts you instead of putting you down. He introduces students to culture and theater. Very helpful, kind, and considerate.He expects respect and he gives respect.

I love this professor's way of teaching. He is very nice and lenient as long as you respect. Long assignments that r time consuming but gives more than enough time plus day off to "research". I got an A in his class and honestly was terrified of speaking in public. Wish he had other classes also.

Prof Townsend expects you to conduct yourself like an adult. You are in college and he expects college level work from you. I throughly enjoyed this class. He is always available to help you and will even help you find sources on the internet.

Mr. Townsend is not an easy A or a kickback class but he knows what he is talking about. And the comments about him not being there to help...ridiculous. He devotes days to where he sits in his classroom just waiting for questions. He doesnt make you sit in class when he has nothing to say. Great PROFESSOR!

If you really want to learn something about writing a good speech and learning how to speak in front of group, than you want to take his class. Yes, he is very demanding but in a good way, he wants you to know current events and stay updated and that is good. If you are looking for an easy A or an easy ride than his class is not for you.

this guy is sssooo rude. BEWARE!!! its not helpful AT ALL. and he gives the same lecture over and over and over again-he can kiss my ass. he thinks his all that and always right. he makes u feel like in middle school. be prepared to do alot of homework too.
