Guy is brilliant and because of that he has a lot of trouble explaining things well to people. He mumbles and writes really fast. Very very old fashioned. No computer simulations no typed lab reports. He teaches his classes assuming everyone in the class has way more experience than they do. I found his class and methods to be outdated.

Prof. Hmurcick comes off as hard and intransigent but rewards hard work. If you are honest, don't make things up and show him you work hard, he will help you. Always available in his office. On the other hand, if you expect him to do the thinking for you, you're screwed. I admire him, as he doesn't compromise the quality of his teaching for bad st.
