She is very boring and will fly off te handle if one person leaves early. Her tests are impossible to study for. But u don't have to go to art galleries or trips or anything and you can miss a few classes If u want and still be okay .

Only talks about all of the awards she has received and how spectacular she is. You spend an incomprehensible amount of time on ancient architecture (Chaco Canyon and Anghor Wat). The tests are pretty easy, but the class is awful.

The class is at the PHD level. Way to much info? The test are 100% auto fail. She does curve the grades so if your lucky you might pass. Way to much info, Horrible lectures witha broken microphone, very bad! It will kill your intrest in art. However she is a very nice person, she needs to take the critisim and change her ciriculum. Hard!!!!!

Very hard class. Never tells you what is on the test. You don't even need your book b.c the powerpoints are online. Her final is cumulative which makes it impossible. Very nice woman but preaches too much on other religions when it is an art class. I wouldn't take this professor for this class again.

Definetely do not take her class for art history 101. It's extremely boring, and she crams in a lot of information for tests. Don't buy the book. There are only 4 tests in this class, no homework, no quizzes, so you don't have much opportunity to get a good grade.

good things about eleanor- very sweet woman, helps students if they ever need it. grades on a curve and they are usually huge curves because the tests are so difficult. bad things- the books are a waste of money. if you miss one class you are so far behind, if you attend class regularly though, it shouldnt be a problem.

she is such a sweet lady but her tests are extremely hard. Studying for them is a waste of time. If you are not an art person, like me, i advise you forget about the professor being bad and switch to theater or music right now. If you do take it though dont waste your money on the books you wont open them once, nothing she teaches about is in them

I got an A in the class but only b/c I STUDIED my ass off....literally studied 3-4 hrs for every test...Try not to miss many classes if you want an A..No HW, just crazy tests.....Be aware!! Really Boring!

Very helpful and intelligent. I've never been so impressed by a professor. She really cares about her students and loves teaching the material. Although she can get a little boring at times.. highly recommended!
