Comment:

Prof. Alexander is a wonderful teacher; however, this class is practically impossible to get an A in unless you devote almost all of your studying to this class. It's a required class and he's prob. the best to teach it. There are three hard tests, about four extra credits and to do well you HAVE to read and attend every lecture.

Comment:

First off, Dr. Alexander is a cool professor. Although this class can be difficult because it is law, don't be afraid. You must go to TA assistance which for me was held every night before a test. I received a B in the class and did study a fair amount, but keep in mind that I'm not a law student and was still able to get a solid grade.

Comment:

He's interesting to listen to, but sometimes a bit confusing. Detailed notes and doing the study guide far enough ahead so that you have time to ask him the stuff you don't know will suffice. You don't need the book. Attendance isn't mandatory, but you'll do better on tests if you go. His class is very doable.

I felt like I was missing something if I couldnt go to lecture. His teaching style is fun and energetic, and students actually learn something useful. I highly recommend taking this class with him.

He was pretty entertaining, at least when I was in class. You didn't really have to go, but you better have good notes if you didn't...the tests were only easy if you had great notes and studied...otherwise you're S.O.L.

This class was great. He was very entertaining and interesting. He made what could have been a very boring subject into something very interesting with his humor and different videos proving his point. The tests weren't too bad. The test follow the study guide almost verbatim. He gave extra credit.

Comment:

Very nice and funny but boring. Tests are very difficult and a bit confusing. It is a hard class because it is law. No attendance policy gives no incentive to go to class. All together ok.

The lectures can be dry - after all, it's a law class. I guess if you want to be a lawyer you'd find it more interesting. The tests, while multiple choice/guess, will require quite a bit of studying to do better than a "C".
