For Pathophysiology: tests only on what she lectures on, hard class but she is available for office hours and will tell you what to focus on. Very nice outside of class, tough in class. Take ample time to prepare for exams and you will pass. Pharmacology: quizzes every week with questions not from the PowerPoint. good luck.

absolute worst teacher i have ever had in my life. over half the class failed the course. tests are ridiculous and the lectures are WAY too long, too long to be able to retain any information. her powerpoint consist of lists of words and she just reads straight off of them. basically need to learn everything on your own.

Tough but fair. Test bank questions, with lots of emphasis on manifestations and treatment. Her tests encompass everything she TALKS ABOUT IN LECTURE. Only used the book to understand concepts in greater depth. Very long class times, and difficult to catch everything. All in all, for my first semester, I would have no other for Patho.

She was fairly rude when responding to students, read off her ppts, & never explained things properly. Most test q's are not out of her own lectures. Teach yourself, & just show up to class. Each test she just said "study everything" & provided no guidance as to what to study. 3 tests, 1 cumulative final. Participation via clicker. Very frustrating

Class isn't horrible, but isn't great either. Tests are hard. Study off the lecture notes & give yourself 1-2 weeks before each exam to prepare. She isn't very helpful or clear whatsoever. Never used the book & got a B+ in the class.

Reads off power points for two hours plus. Quizzes on most class days, make sure you study every week.

This class really isn't that bad. It's hard to actually understand the material, just memorize the power points and have a basic understanding. Try and study really hard for the first test because it is the easiest and you want to boost your grade. The final is actually pretty easy and she focuses on main points. Everyone got a B not the final too.

If you don't get a high A on the first exam, you're gonna have a bad time if you're hoping for a B in the class. The tests become increasingly confusing after the first exam. May the odds forever be in your favor.

Terrible at teaching! Pretty much reads off power points and doesn't really explain anything. Purposely makes her tests hard. She will try to trick you. It's really annoying how she talks to you like you're a child. She's being replaced soon, thank goodness!

She was not much help for patho. Her notes have very little detail and her lecture doesn't help make sense of her notes. It's hard to connect the dots when learning about disease processes. Internet was the best tool for help- not the textbook. She is also very disorganized (PPT/lecture dont always match her notes). Tests are doable but not easy.

SHe's hard, but it's not as bad as everyone is saying. Save yourself a hundie and DON'T buy the textbook- she says she will test from the lectures as well as the book, but she doesn't. She provided her lecture notes this last semester in addition to the powerpoints. Study off of THOSE, retype them before the test and use the powerpoints as a review

Hands down the worst teacher I've had in my entire life. Does not teach whatsoever and half your time is spent trying to decode her notes. She expects you to listen to her lectures online and come to class...both of which are useless. Tests material that does not even relate to her class. Her advice, "Know everything you've ever learned and more."

doesn't care about her students. uses test banks instead of testing from her material. power points are just lists of words. argumentative and defensive if you come to her for clarification. doesnt not know how to use teaching equipment. never emails you back. makes up her own abbreviations. I got all A's in nursing school but got C's in 208 & 304

I enjoyed being in her class, she tries to lighten heavy lectures by sharing funny stories and making funny faces. However, her teaching is unbearable. Power Point slides are for high school students, full of fragments. The assigned book was no use. When u take the test, work on your critical thinking, she likes scenarios & feedback format question

Unorganized. Expects alot, but is not very clear on what she wants from you. Definately DO outcomes!! Study in Groups. Definately ask her multiple times what she's going to put on her tests. On the other hand she is pretty funny in class. Likeable, but not a great teacher.

Good luck to you next semester! The class average for the first tests were failing. If you want to contest her test answers do it, but make sure you bring your notes and book with you and maybe you can get a few extra pts.

Oh my God. I don't have enough words allowed to describe this instructor. She argued with the students, tried to go back on her word several times, and essentially treated us like 5 year olds, but expected us to know things to the level of needing a doctorate in pathophysiology. I was excited to take this class, but I feel as if I learned nothing.

VERY unorganized. Having two professors for this class was ridiculous and not necessary. Does not return assignments promptly and even stated she did not grade fair on one assignment. Does not take criticism well and gives confusing if any directions.

This professor was VERY unorganized but because she has tenure, she stays as a teacher. The quizzes and test do not have any correlation with the notes she gives or the textbook. She gets off track very easily and very often, resulting in not finishing or even starting the notes. Does not take criticism well either, and will blame students.
