Dr. Taub is an absolute delight. She constantly goes above and beyond to take care of her students health and well being and creates an environment where students are comfortable engaging in discussion. She brings snacks to class and takes student feedback into consideration all throughout the course, not just at the very end.

I took this class because I needed to take the cluster requirement and it was a game-changer. Changed my major and my career plans because of it.

New Info Tech is an amazing class and Dr. Taub makes the material so relevant to daily life that even the long, difficult theory readings actually make sense. Only class I ever had where professor involves students in designing parts of syllabus and assignments. Really cares about student interest.

I didn't know what I was signing up for with a cluster because it's a new requirement. I'm glad I took it with Taub and Rosenberg. Awesome cluster, great classmates, loved fieldwork with HYPE.

Dr. Taub and Prof. Elliott were the best. I took Doc Research with Taub and this course was more advanced and project focussed. I didn't need the elective but worth while definitely for an upper level practice course or arts course.

Literally the worst teacher I have ever had in my entire life. The Media Com department at Berg really messed up with this one. She is not helpful at all when it comes to graded assignments and really only cares about listening to herself talk.

Makes an effort to integrate digital media into the class in a fun and meaningful way. Expect to earn some new tools and see Tony Dalton if you have trouble. She's very friendly and obviously values students perspectives.

Lora Taub treated our class like a kindergarten. Her style of teaching is the reason students drop out of college; her class required students to shift into low gear. Her class was so unpleasant in memorable way.

She's a very nice teacher, but hard to get into contact with and very vague in class. Her assignments are clear, but her grading doesn't always seem to reflect the quality of the work. She is very passionate about the class and her subject. Frankly, she can't communicate well and she is a communications professor.

Documentary Research - Missed many classes and was often unavailable for previously scheduled appointments. Often unclear about exam material, but not a difficult course. Too laid back.

I don't know about other classes - but she is the DEVIL in Doc Research. AVOID!! She is EXTREMELY unclear, and the work is so asinine...in addition, the tests are confusing and she is unhelpful. Do NOT take her for Doc Research if you can help it...

Awesome class and awesome professor. Like her other other classes, she's always trying to help make the material relevant beyond class. I've never thought about environmental com before but now I'm looking for an internship in the field.

One of the few courses where you actucally create something. And the iMovie skills helped me snag a sumemr internship with a video producer.

took her for doc research. absolute joke of a class. i wonder if this woman has ever even made an actual documentary, save for her iMovie collages. she somehow manages to be EXTREMELY redundant in class, yet also vague and unclear. she's in tune with the philosophical aspects of the material, just not the actual material - at all. avoid. avoid.
