She goes VERY slowly in class and actually waits for EVERYONE to finish copying everything down from the PowerPoint before moving on. Her explanations are clear, and she really cares about her students. However, you'll often find yourself unprepared assignments and exams since her examples in class were too easy.

Her lectures are very well organized, but sometimes hard to follow since they are often a little dry. In addition, the examples she use in class to demonstrate definitions and theorems are often too easy and do not come in too helpful when it comes to doing assignment problems.

She is a very clear prof. Her printed notes make it so that you can focus more on the content than scrambling to copy stuff down. She is really nice outside of class! (milking assignment answers out of her is impossible, she really makes you think!)

Algebra rocks! Very nice and funny prof! Her notes are very good and she always offers help when people don't understand concepts! She moved a little slow during lectures, but besides that she want great!

Sweetest prof ever. She REALLY (and I'm not exaggerating) tries to make sure students understand the concept. Always pauses, readily accepts in-class questions, and makes herself available outside of class. Tries her best to ensure clarity. Notes are super helpful (and organized).

Had well prepared notes and came to class with enthusiasm. However, her lectures were sometimes very dry, and it was often hard to focus and stay awake throughout the whole duration of the lecture. She also had few office hours.

Comment:

Very good teacher. Best notes of all the algebra teachers, and they are very handy when you need to find that theorem or reread a concept instead of lecture slides. Readily available out side class. You can't go wrong with her unless you don't work at all.

She might be a good prof for English-based courses, but she didn't do a good job teaching math. Her explanations seemed too weak. And she always made unacceptable mistakes during the lectures. IMO, get a better prof if you have her

I certainly didn't like her teaching. She uses powerpoint presentations to teach and that does not work well in my opinion. Her explanations seem too pre-rehearsed and it's sometimes very hard to follow. I would avoid her.

A very good professor who is obviously very passionate about the course and making sure that the students do well. Has excellent course notes and very clear, concise and organized lectures which do a good job of covering a surprisingly large amount of material through the semester.
