Dr. Wood is a very nice lady but when it comes to teaching chemistry, she is not the nicest. She makes herself very unapproachable by getting mad or making you feel dumb when you have a question. She is the toughest grader I have ever had, it is like she doesn't want you to pass.

Comment:

Took CHM 130 with this instructor at Rio Salado. The class was challengin, but I attributed that to the fact that it was online rather than face to face. She gave excellent study guides, which helped me to get good grades on the exams. I had to put a lot of hours in on the lab assignments and spent some time in the tutoring center for extra help.

took this online, and it was incredibly difficult. not available, and didn't get the required videos out until 3 weeks into the class for required labs which were graded with a grievance. took class 3yrs ago, but felt it necessary to address other review. do not take this instructor for chm 130. spent 15hrs a week on this class and got a B.

Very enthusiastic about teaching, and is good at making chemistry understandable. Also quite a hottie!
