Professor Boyd is hysterical, one of the best CJ professors at UML. Weekly quizzes are easy, tests are easy. Just read and the book and you'll do good. No homework, usually lets you out early. Take this mans class, any of them he's great. Holla at your boy. (you'll get this if you take his class)

he's awesome.....that's all i can say. he tests from notes & book but he pretty much tells you exactly what's gonna be on the test. by far my fave teacher of all time. good luck at Univ. of North Texas...we all miss you!!

policing professor Boyd is an excellent teacher. he makes the class fun and time goes by quicly in his class. there is nothing hard about the way he teaches you just have to listen and take notes. the test are mutiple choice and you have half lecture and half

HATE this class! The tinyest details from the text are on the exam. You MUST attend all lectures and read the ENTIRE text to get a good grade. He would be fun to hang with but certainly not take a class with. If you like studying a lot, take this class.

Good teacher, learned a lot. Definitely adds spice to class and actually makes you not want to miss his lectures. Four test/400 = your grade%. Half of the questions on test are from lecture and other half is from text, recommend you learn the bold definitions on the side of pages in text.

Great teacher. He is funny and really cool. My advice is always go to class and READ THE BOOK. It is an easy class if you do that, & sometimes if u dont, but READ THE BOOK. If ur having trouble go 2 him just make sure u READ THE BOOK. But its a very interesting class and a very cool teacher.

Great teacher....great class! great discussions and you learn many on the job experiences in policing and the criminal justice system . Cracks jokes on people and is very laid back...A must take for students at odu!!!!

This guy is a great professor, you do have to read the book just to keep him happy and its good for tests. But his lectures are very discussion oriented but he still gets his terms and theories accross. Overall the class isnt easy, but he makes it fun
