Comment:

Professor Postner is one of the best in the department. Always willing to offer help even if she doesn't have the answer herself (Android is constantly changing). Projects are really straight forward. The hardest assignment will probably be the research paper/presentation, which isn't that bad.

-Couldn't be more accessible. Send email, get response 30min later -Passionate about helping students. Don't have enough chars to detail! -Lecture speed is fairly quick, should write fast to take efficient notes -Careful! May occasionally use a trick example not fully obvious-Mandatory group projects and labs. Wish I could take her for CSC 130!

I don't have enough space here to express how amazing of a professor she is! The lectures were great and really helped you to understand the material. The assignments and tests were challenging, but for the better! She really cares a lot about her students and does her best to help you! One of the best teachers I've ever had!

Amazing prof, i love CS and a great teacher can help a lot and this is the teacher you want. I had her for CS1 and CS2 and will be taking her for Mobile app. Amazing prof and great feedback. She replies to emails fast and is definitely the best prof ive had since coming to nassau

She was an amazing teacher but the class was very difficult. She gives 6 projects 3 exams and a final. Plus gives quiz's every week. A lot of work to be done and the subject of computer science doesn't help. She however is always there to help and responds to emails as quick as possible. If you think you're good this take her!

She is one of the best professor at NCC. She takes the time to review everything you learn in class. she gives home once a week. Everything you do in class is the home work. If you have any questions she answer it to the best of her ability. her test aren't easy but not difficult at all.

She is an organized, thorough, and a very helpful professor. She makes college seem worthwhile and not a waste of time as you are guaranteed to be ready for upper level CSC classes if you passed 104 or 120 with her. If you are lazy and reluctant to work then I suggest you either quit csc major and or quit college all together.

Starts of the semester great, gets a bit harder but she is always willing to help you. Homework is mandatory, she's an pretty good teacher you cannot slack off in her class if you do you will fail. Teaches at the end of the semester a bit quicker than the beginning, but overall pretty good teacher!

Had her for the fall 2011 for CSC 120. Was a mistake for me to take this class because I didn't have any programming experience. The College made a mistake to have at least a C in Math 111 instead of CSC 104 to take this class. This class has no relation to pre-cal what so ever. She quit giving students lab partners at the end of the semester.

A wonderful professor! Had her for CSC120 for Fall '11, which was my first semester in college. And had a great time learning Computer Science in her class. She is extremely helpful, and if you have any questions and e-mail her, she responds as well [which I heard many professors don't do]. All in all, a very dedicated professor!

I was going to drop this class prior to even taking it and im so happy i didnt. Prof. Postner is so helpful and is extremely dedicated to her students and work. The class is a little tricky but definitely interesting. If you need a computer science prof postner all the way. Utilize her office hours shes so helpful! cant say enough good about her!

Excellent Prof. Very helpful and not mean. She really cares about her students. If you stay in the class, you will pass. Class becomes easier because its coding which is repetitive. If you dont have a good memory, you still have a chance.My best class so far
