Hagy is one of the best professors Highlands has. He knows what he's talking about and if very helpful in and out of class. I would take his class over and over again if I could I thoroughly enjoyed my time in his classes

Comment:

Honestly one of the best professors at Highlands, gives a great lecture. I enjoyed his Western Civ courses even though I didn't do as well in the 2nd one. He was never rude, or disrespectful. Truly a great influence.

I hate how he never made any videos for us to actually learn from himself, we only read from the book and watched videos he found online. He didn't provide any kind of notes, you take all of them based on what you think is important. You read a chapter a week, which is about 30 pages, so it's not that bad, just get's annoying.

Comment:

Hague requires a lot of effort, but his knack for storytelling makes him a fine teacher of Western Civ. I admire him for making sure we understood the causes of each historical event. Both part 1 and 2 we fell behind and had to gloss over some sections... Be prepared for that. Involves a lot of writing, more than my ENG 111 class. Take notes, kids.

Mr. Hagy is a Brilliant man. He knows Everything to know about History. Now I will e blunt, He demands quite a bit, but his willing to guide you through everything. I took his class through the HGS for High school students. You will learn a lot from him. If you can get him be glad!!!

I've had Hagy for multiple classes and I wouldn't recomend anyone else for history. Loves the subject and it it rubs off. I already had an interest in the subject but he make you want to know what happens next all semester. History is the story of humans, and Hagy teaches it as such

Professor Hagy's class was alot of fun I took both sections over the summer and found that it was easy to keep up and I truly enjoyed the class. Tests were not easy but the study guides contained all the information that you needed. Super professor.

Mark Hagy rocks. I hate history, but didnt mind his class. Took both sections distance, and actually enjoyed it. His study guides are clear and well organized, and his tests are thorough, and representative of what he asked you to learn. Compassionate, fun, and knowledgable.

I took his online course, memorize what's on the study guides, and you've got it. I got an A, me and a few of my friends would get together for a day or two before the test, and study together. That helps a lot. The tests are pretty hard, you have to memorize a lot.

Mr Hagy is an awesome teacher! If you want a history class that you will remember, then he is the teacher you want. I had him two years ago, and he still remains my favorite teacher of all time!
