Comment:

His Python class was great. Assignments are challenging but he gave personalized feedback via YouTube responses which I found super helpful. Make sure you ask for help if you need it because although its a beginner Python class it moves quickly into relatively tough stuff.

Doesn't explain anything! This is an introductory class and he reuses same you tube videos from years ago! I spent several hours EVERY DAY researching on my on what to do and he never gave helpful directions. Its a shame because I never want easy "A" but at a bare minimum I should get instructions and assistance since I am paying for these courses

I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed Dr. Hufe's classes, but I am a computer nerd. I can see how others would not enjoy the class. If you are looking to LEARN, take his class. If you want to be handed a A, stay away. He is a great teacher, but has high standards of work.

Not for beginner or average programmers. Instructor (Hufe) does not clarify information or provide any assistance towards resolving work. Recommend B. Cardillo or other instructors if they are available. Stay away unless you are an experienced programmer.

Nice teacher BUT - Lacks detailed instructions, no "real" help provided. Assignments/tests/projects will stand on their own - with little to no assistance from Hufe. If you have little to no experience in programming, stay away from this professor/course. Unfair grading + delayed grading + unresponsive to emails & questions.

Great personality, but lacked clarity. I consider myself near expert in the subject matter and took the class because it's a required part of my WIS major and an easy A. While I easily achieved this, I felt bad for other students and found myself tutoring them alot because he would lose them in long winded discussions. Does offer outsideclasshelp

You will not leave before close to 10:00. Lot of assignments and 2 quizzes per week. Tests aren't too bad but his class is boring cuz he talks way too much. He likes to drag the classes out to keep you there.

Mr. Hufe was one the worst teachers I have ever had. He was not clear on assignments and the course change almost weekly in what we were suppose to complete during the first 7 weeks of class. He was not helpful when I asked questions. He was more concerned about using his PowerPoint and talking about his past employment experiences then the class.

Comment:

Does not relay information well. Very helful, but can't explain the information on a beginner level. Class itself is very hard if you have no programming experience. Never take as a block class, way to much information!!
