Comment:
I took Modern Europe with him. His lectures are long and very boring, but he takes attendance so you have to be there to listen to them. Exams were a randomly generated essay prompt from the chapters. He did give us the possible options which did help. I recommend writing out essay outlines when studying. Prepare to work hard and you'll do fine.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews on Lee. He's extremely knowledgeable about the subject and if you have any questions he's more than happy to answer them. He has all the slides posted on Canvas if you fall behind and he posts his Exam Questions in week of advance, so there isn't any excuse to struggle in the class.

He's a great teacher. Notes from class are posted so you never fall behind, and the tests are clear as he gives you the questions way before the test so it is great for you, and he's great at working with ya if you need something or ask him to extend out the time for quizzes if you're crazy busy.

Discussion group comments required, note heavy, quizzes and then tests to follow it up so 4 weeks before a test you have 4 quizzes to take til the test.

his lectures aren't helpful whatsoever. he goes thru chapters really fast, about one a week and if you want to read instead of his bad monotone lecture you will be reading 60-80 pages a week. attendance is graded

He seems very knowledgeable about the subject, but his lecture is a bit unorganized and unhelpful when studying. You might as well just read the book in order to do well on the tests. In the end, he is a stickler on detailed information if you have essay exams.

One of the rudest and most arrogant teachers I have ever been taught by. His tests are hard, and he believes that history "is an interpretive art." What he means by that, is history crowned him its soul interpreter. Good luck.

Lecture heavy class, but gives all test info in lectures if you take detailed notes. Don't miss class or skip online reading, you'll miss a lot. Was really flexible in regards to scheduling make-up for test missed due to illness. Very little work outside essay tests, one big paper. Found text to be extraneous due to detail level of lectures.
