Dr. Hedayatipour is very knowledgeable in regards to the class material and is always willing to stay late to help you out. Exams are a bit difficult but if you attend class and ask questions you will do fine. Will definitely take again!

He is a great guy and is very helpful. He is always willing to spend as much time with you as is needed for you to understand the material. His tests are not super easy but if you studied you'll do great.

Dr. Hedayatipoor was very helpful! His lectures were entertaining with all the class demos and such. Although not mandatory, class attendance would definitely help come exam time, as some find his exams a bit difficult. However, if you study the material and pay attention and ask questoins in class you will do fine

Horrible. His english is terrible, and he derives formulas all day long, and doesn't actually teach you how to do anything. Exams are REALLY long...no one finished our midterm in a class of 250. Avoid this professor!

By far one of the funiest profs i've ever had. His teaching was pretty useless though. You might as well just read through the book and go to him for help during his office hours to get all the answers to his assignments.

In the prof ratings, they ask us whether the prof respects us, or uses demos, and makes the lectures interesting. True. He does do those. But his quality of teaching? HORRENDOUS. He spends 45 minutes deriving formulas which we obviously won't be tested on and 5 minutes on obvious plugging the numbers in examples. If you want to learn physics, AVOID

He's a pretty good prof, very helpful when you ask him for help. Got an accent, but it's not too bad. It's in his best interest to make sure everyone understands what he's saying, and what he's doing. Assigments are a little tough, but they truly help you for exam situations. Test time not enough, but not hard exams

Awesome Prof. although he is not a very good teacher. Looks like mario and speaks very little english, so very entertaining! I'd recommend him for someone who has a background in Persian and Physics, because he is fun to watch.
