I took this class in the winter term and I gotta admit... I was worned out. 3 tests and the only way to prepare for them is by doing the HW which he gives the solutions and how to do them upfront. Test are proctoru.

If your a business major, especially a finance major, I highly suggest this course. Your Bloomberg terminal skills and PP presentation skills will improve dramatically throughout the course. I found this course to be very beneficial to real life applications. Also, Dr. Najand is a wonderful professor.

THE BEST professor I had for finance at ODU! Take him if you can. Take him even if you don't need him. I learned more in his class than I did in ANY of my other classes. No homework, no tests, just 1 long paper due at the end of the semester. Participate and go to class and you will learn a lot. FABULOUS TEACHER!!!!

Very nice guy to everyone in class, and it is very possible for anyone to come out with an A if you are willing to work. Class can get boring if your not a total investment enthusiast (i am not), lots of people leave after break. I expected more of him from reading previous reviews but I would still recommend the class. Attendance helps& do the HW

I would definitely recommend taking his class...he's very nice guy, willing to help you in and outside of class in his office hours. You can tell that he likes what he does and he's enthusiatic when he teachers. Once again, very helpful and I wish he taught more finance classes.

he is the best professor i have ever had for finance. He explains the material very well and goes over all the homework problems. I highly recommend him. the class didn't even seem like a 3hr class. He makes it very interesting for students to learn finance. GREAT PROFESSOR!
