This professor made me feel dumb! First of all, the only thing you are graded on are exams. Attendance, labs, and lectures dont count as points. This professor would tell you what to study for an exam and then change the material completely the last minute so you would fail. He did this on purpose and then would call us dumb. Never again taking!

Take his hybrid class. Lecture exams are online. Lab exams are in class but heres the thing. He posts the lab exam video online to help you study. He presents around 40-50 slides on his video, and his exam is 25 questions. I put 0 effort and got a 93%(4.0). Take him.

Comment:

One of the best teachers I ever had. His lecture test are easy. You really have to study for his labs but if you study his online U-tube site you will pass his labs. Make sure you try to come because you get points for attendance. I ended up in the hospital and missed a lot of class but I still passed. I would definitely take him again.

Phenomenal teacher, lectures are a bit dry, but if you listen to what he says in class, study, and ask questions, youll pass the class easy. A lot of online quizzes and there are 7 lab tests- one about every other week. No homework and uses his own coursepack for in-class work. Book is not mandatory at all

By far the worst online teacher I've ever had: 1) he says he'll respond to emails within 2 days, but doesn't 2) it's impossible to A+ the quizzes because he is too careless to fix the quiz's grading system 3) he removes points from free response questions without any explanation 4) if you ask for clarification, he copy-pastes the rubric to you.

Professor Abbas is a very smart, knowledgable man. This class is by no means easy, but if you come to class, watch his online videos and read the book, it shouldn't be hard to get an A. The only downsides are that you get 5 points for every day that you come to class and it's fairly test heavy.

A&P is okay with him, micro is not. For micro, the in class tests exams are easy, but his lab report grading sank most of the students grades. Even if you try your best, the rubric is not set up for student success. He consistently singled people out in front of class and made them feel bad. He does not answer questions. He treats students poorly.

Took A & P Hybrid. If you do the reading/assignments & study you will do well. You Tube videos are very helpful for the Lab Exams. I found Dr. Abbas to be very fair. Plan on at least 12-15 hours per week during Fall/Winter. Would not recommend taking in Spring/Summer.

Dr. Abbas was good teacher. He made every thing so easy to understand. The questions to his lecture test were the study guide question which the answer were on line. All you had to do is put forth a little effort and you could pass easy. He was very approachable and helpful when I needed help. He also provide you tube videos for the lab test

EASY A!! I recommend taking this professor for anatomy. I was nervous about the difficulty going in, but never had a problem finding an answer either in the text or online. All quizzes are unlimited attempts and discussion are very helpful and interesting. Spend some quality time reading the text or else the discussion wont come easily!

Worst professor I have ever had and I am working on my second bachelor's degree. I had the hybrid class with the on-campus lab. He was totally useless for this. He basically comes in sets up the lab materials, tells you what lab you are supposed to do and then says go to it. When you ask a question your answer is figure it out. Take someone else.

Most boring class EVER!! Someone else said this was a self taught class and i completely agree. His lecture is pointless and he just rambles on and you get nothing out of it. Plan on teaching yourself everything, and if youre taking hybrid class pay attention; half of the stuff he wants you to print off yourself at home. Very frustrating. Unhelpful

This was the worst professor I had in Schoolcraft college. He is rude, and not good to international student. I came to class, did all my homework but just because I guessed wrong one of the bacteria of our final report (on Unknown bacteria) he took out 25 points of 50. I talked to him and he was rude. He is a grumpy man.

Enjoyed this semester with Dr.Abbas. If you showed up and stayed the whole class he would help you. Just have to show you are trying. Chapter test's are from his study questions and lab tests can be difficult but he gives you the info to study. I would suggest taking Dr. Abbas if you really want to learn =)

This class has to be one of the most boring classes I've ever attended. It was extremely difficult to sit through hours of lecture when he just read what was on the power point in his monotonous voice! It seemed that he chose the hardest questions to put on exams. He seemed to focus on the small things rather than the big concepts.

Negatives: does not welcome quesions from students; uneasy (difficult parsonality); possible temper problems(?) Positives: Clear presentation/very thorough; professional; somewhat helpful and considerate; smiled a couple times in the semester! Also, online tests are challenging but I did ver well overall because of prior knowledge/classes.
