If possible, I would take all my chemistry classes with him. He cares for every student. He tries his best to make every one understand the concepts. He is very understanding and flexible with deadlines. He does all this for the students, but some students don't put much effort to do well in the class. This would upset any professor like him.

By far the best professor at Edinboro. He truly cares about each and every one of his students, and this can be seen through his incredible teaching style. Organic chem is tough, but if you work hard and put in your best effort, you will be rewarded.

About half of the semester (Intro, Ch. 1, Ch. 2) this class was manageable. I did well in labs, which were very long but after the first test the class went downhill from there. I struggled with the given information, I went to tutors and Kebede for help. Tutors were fine, Kebede was very condescending & rude if you do not understand the material.

Comment:
Organic Chemistry is a hard course, but Kebede makes it very manageable! The skeleton notes are great and he provides extra notes in class to further explain. Attendance is not graded, but I'd imagine it would be hard to get a good grade if you did not attend class. The labs are long, but not too difficult.

Dr. Kebede is by far the most amazing professor I have ever had. Organic Chemistry is a tough class but he makes it well worth it. He loves his students and truly cares about each and every one of them. However, he demands respect but you'll want to give it to him. He's so sweet and helpful when you go see him during office hours.

He is a very nice guy, and not bad as a teacher but for someone who does not understand/like chemistry he is not a very thorough teacher. Definitely need to read on your own and practice math problems to do well on the tests. Labs are easy, though not very clear directions. If you like chem/need it for your major, he would probably be excellent.

One of the best professors I've ever had. He makes the year of organic special and unforgettable. He is patient, knowledgeable, commited to teaching, and willing to help. The course takes hard work and can be frustrating at times. There's no such thing as too much studying for his classes, especially Organic II. Tests are long but fair.

Dr. Kebede is a pretty nice guy. He's alwasys willing to help and everything but for me his class was a little hard. I mean he put the powerpoints on line and everything but i just didnt understand his lectures and labs. the labs were the most difficult for me because you never really know what to do.

Dr. Kebede is the best thing to ever happen to EUP. He will drop everything to help you and really immerses you into learning. He will always be there for you as long as you are willing to work hard and put forth a valiant effort. The course is challenging and he appreciates it when students seek his help. He sets the bar! I will never forget him!!

Dr. Kebede is brilliant. I have him for a summer session and he tries so hard to make sure you understand what's going on. I screw the labs up often and ask many dumb questions, and he's always so patient. The epitome of what a professor should be, he sets the bar!

He is the best professor in the chemistry department. Dr. Kebede is always willing to help with any question you may have. He gives 100% every day and expects the same out of his students. If you give it your all then his class is passable, but if you don't put forth the effort it will be a miserable experience.

AWESOME PROFESSOR!! If you show that you're trying he will sit with you until you get it. He loves chemistry and wants his students to love it too. Take as many classes as you can with him. He gives alot of respect to his students and expects the same in return. Takes it personally when people cheat so just don't do it. He will catch you!!

Dr. Kebede is an excellent teacher. However, the class is extremely difficult. He knows when students are having a rough time. He never cancels class. Towards the end of the semester, he will turn the 3 hour lab periods into lectures. FYI. Labs aren't bad, but very long and tedious.

The amount of effort you show is proportional to the amount he likes you, which is directly proportional to your grade in the class.

If only I were 25 years older... This man is truly wonderful. He makes a point to get to know all of his students and will adjust his lecture to make sure everyone understands the material. He is very intelligent, and also quite funny. While the material itself was hard, I never had a problem going to class because he made the material learnable
