The quizzes are easy if you have done the readings and the group project is very interesting. However, her grading criteria are very unclear, especially for essays and projects. I expected more out of this class and I think the topics of conversation and readings could have been much more interesting. If I had to do it again, I'd take another prof.

The most interesting course I have taken in Desautels so far. Prof P-Aleman is one of the nicest professors, really helpful especially in her office hours. Very dynamic class with lots of participation. She also cares about her students and wants to get to know them, known for giving good advice about what to do next for graduating students.

Amazing professor. Always available for you and helps you for your papers. She nearly sat with me and put my ideas on paper and I left with an outline of my paper. She's very open to questions and discussion. She's not a tough grader at all. Do the readings before class, else don't bother coming. You can easily get an A-

Sweet and cute as a button, but drones on and on and on...her lectures reiterate the textbook pretty much--not so necessary to attend. But the class roleplays add an interesting dimension to the course I suppose, and the videos are helpful (or so i am told since I only attended 20% of classes). There's quite a bit of reading, but very handle-able!
