Paul is the right professor for people who don't like math or has understanding math. If you are good with it you will only get annoyed because he is REALLY slow, really slow. He spent most of the lectures talking about his family. It's an easy pass though, and his sample tests are EXACTLY the same as the real test

He is the best math prof, I have taken math 5 times before him. 5 TIMES .. He truly is a gem, dont take him for granted and enjoy his class. He is here to help you, so dont leave everything last minute with him... be honest and he will educate and take care of you so you learn what you need to and pass.

Paul is the best professor within the math department. He has been teaching a long time, has a lot of knowledge and experience that shows through in his class. He provides very clear examples, and sample questions before each test. His lectures are interesting and he treats his students like adults. Only downside is he does not use email/online.

he's very friendly, he works hard to make sure students understand the material, he's very patient, will give multiple examples, tells funny stories (without being mean or hurting others). I highly recommend taking his classes.

Paul is one of the best professors I have ever had. He is there for you, because he wants you to succeed. If you have hard time with Math, take him, because he is very good at teaching and knows about what he is talking. Also, he relates his personal stories to math and makes it easy and fun to learn. Paul is the best!

She is a very nice person overall that what makes him a good teacher. Patient and honest. You will not study with him a lot, but you will pass the course. He speaks about his wife a lot. If you do not like math at all take him as the best teacher in your case.

Comment:

Prior to Mr. Balog's class, the last time I had hope in math was 10 years ago. He cares about his students -teaches life-long/realistic applications whenever possible, gives great advice, and is generally kind and hilarious on top of that. I would've have selected "there for you" and "inspirational" if 5 tags were allotted. Thank you!

Nice guy, wants everyone to do well. Only had him for half a semester as they changed halfway through summer. Wish he was the prof the entire time. Puts the math into terms that you can relate with so you understand better.

Math for me is hard, but with this teacher it became easy. He is direct, takes his time as well as a clear speaker. He leaves time at the end of every class so that he can do one on one lesson if needed by students. He prepares you very well for his tests. His pre tests are hard but are almost the same test as the final. Can get By with no Textbook

Probably the best math Professor I ever had this guy explains about the steps in math really well and makes it really easy for me to understand compare to the other math professor at George Brown College. Also his Test and exams are easy cause all the tests and exams are exactly like the review sheet. Their all the same steps but different numbers.
