He's OK. The class was interesting, but it was boring at times. Also, the class is not as "easy" as it may seem. You HAVE to study and take GOOD notes unless you will not get a good grade. Point blank. I put in a lot of effort to receive an A. If you don't try, you won't do well. He supplies questions to tests beforehand and barely any HW.

This professor is the best one you can take for PHILETHICS. He is very clear, and there isnt a crazy amount of work. Do the readings, which are interesting, not long, and answer the questions he gives you b/c those are the exact ones on the midterm and final (final not cumulative). He's very helpful, repeats himself many times, so take good notes.

He repeats him self. Many many times. Which is useful. He's very kind and sweet. Helps students makes sure you understand eveythng which u will because of his repetition. The study guides he gives u is exactly same as the midterm and final . He prepares u and goes over the answers just study them! His class is always full tho! Goodluck gettingin

I cannot use enough superlatives to describe how wonderful Dr. G is. When I was sick, he personally called me to ask if I was well and catch me up on class. Crystal-clear lectures with frequent repetition drives home the point. Brilliant philosopher, can argue for 0 abortion one class and abortion on demand the next. No text, prints for you for $10

A really, really nice old man. He talks all class and repeats himself, but for those like me who zone out sometimes, that's great. You never miss a thing. Tests are easy if you pay attention. Two papers, not long, and based on your own opinions. With some minor effort, it's an easy A.

Prof. Grontkowski is likely the greatest educator at Fordham University. Brilliant, passionate about the material, and truly dedicated to his students well-being inside and out of the classroom. This class truly changed my way of seeing these issues, and demonstrated how important it is to understand all perspectives of a complicated issue. TAKE!

I will give you the most honest answer right here: Dr. Grontkowski is simply the best professor you could ask for. He goes through the material clearly and at a perfect rate. He is the only professor I know who schedules appointments with EVERY student for each paper to make sure they are on track. Good luck getting his class, it fills up in 5 min

Dr. G is one of Fordham's finest. He is objective, concise, and truly cares about the students & issues we discuss. He will never make you feel lost, and has no problem going over something more than once. I found the class to be very challenging. I loved arguing with him in class, and in doing so I learned truly what my own beliefs were. Aside from our opposing views, we got along very well as student and teacher, and he was also a very kind and understanding person. Highly recommended.
