Great teacher! He relates everything to real life and is funny. He gives handouts that the test is pulled straight off of. There is no reason to do poorly. Tests are literally directly off of the handout. No book necessary.

He is a good professor. Is willing to help. Tests can be hard just make sure you study. He posts notes online and give a lot of handouts. We barley used the text book. He would ask us to read chapters but with him giving us notes I felt the textbook wasn’t any help. I would take him again if I needed a ECO class.

He is the acting Math Dean so he is stretched thin. We were suppose to have 4 test, only had 3. When he couldn't lecture, he gave us notes and made us take a test the first day after returning from Thanksgiving break. He's a good lecturer but he's got too much on his plate at TNCC. Can't believe this guy is still teaching. I had him in the late '80's and STILL think of him. He is awesome. I loved the comment about "needs jeans from this century" - same old Ray Muzia. He made Econ fun. Didn't take attendance, writes his notes longhand on the board - just copy and study. Great real world examples and stories. One of the best.

He speaks very well, but he does repeat himself sometimes. Tells a ton of stories, but honestly Id rather hear stories than listen to a boring econ presentation. DOES NOT teach out of the book. Has his own style and I dig it. Tests aren't hard ( yes you have to study, you do know this is college right?). Cool guy, but obviously not everyones type

Best professor I have ever had, ever. I wish the remainder of my college work could be taken with this guy. Gives 4 tests, one is a take home. Teaches solely from the notes. Only used the book once for a take home test. Get this professor if you have to take ECON, you will not be disappointed. Makes a dry class enjoyable. Rules.

Good Economics teacher.I had him for 201&202.He gives you four exams. Sometimes he gets a little political when relating Ecomonics to real world events but he's a nice guy and he is easy to understand. Just remember to take notes! I would definetly recommend him to another student.

Good Teacher, some tests you will need to study the book some tests you will need to study the notes. You don't really need the book in class at all only at home for studying. He will not mind if you buy last edition instead of the new one. you usually do not need the $40 handbook that is sold separately at the bookstore.

What a joke! This guy knows his stuff but doesn't give a $#%& any more. His hand outs are from the 80's . He doesn't use the $150.00 text book that I now own. If you just need the credit go for it... just read the hand outs over and over.And copy what he writes on the board. Ask about the essay question on the take home ...he likes graphs.

Mr. Muzia is a fantastic teacher! I did 201-202 in the same semester (both as 8 wks compact courses), and would reommend him to anyone! Basically, go to class, do some studying and pay attention, and you'll do fine. He's engaging and has tons of humor. Big bonus: we always got out early! Seriously I had zero interest in econ and loved these classes
