Loved the class. especially remember the photographs taken by her of different naturally occurring optical phenomena. During that semester, I lived to attend the class (cheesy but true). Love optics because of Dr. Vyas.

She was an excellent teacher who worked hard to ensure that we learned. Not an easy teacher by any means and she's quite strict, but a very good one.

She genuinely cares about her students' success. She's nearly always available in her office for questions. She grades and returns homework & tests quickly. During the first few minutes of every lecture, she reviews the previous lecture so that you know what information is the most important. If you do the work then you'll get a good grade.

She is the best professor I ever had- my role model.. her knowledge of physics is breathtaking!! breaks down the hardest concepts into the simplest form.. i give her a 10 in 5!!
