Comment:
Rene is a very imformative teacher. No he doesn't read directly from the text to lecture(that's the students job for homework). He lectures on important "testable" topics. Shows movies that are relevant to the subject. To get an A, read the text, do the homework, show up on time, study key words; in short take the time do your job as a student.

worst and most bias treacher i have ever had! couldnt careless about anyones beliefs but his own! nevers opens a textbook in class, yet tests only on the textbook. calls those who do not agree with what he believes simple minded. trys to joke around but is not successful. i would never recommend this class to anyone.

Entertaining and amusing, he managed to hold my attention and it was a very informative class. I reccommend this class especially if you take the one that's a part of the team-taught set. The interaction betweent he teachers was hysterical and fascinating. Taking this class is what convinced em that I wanted to be in college.

I loved the two anthro classes i took with Peron. Since then i have taken quite a few anthro classes. He is very intelligent and very knowledgeable about the subjects he is teaching. He has a great sense of humor and looks to engage students in his lectures. Ppl complain too much, he gives the grade one deserves so its up to u what u get.

Rene is a great teacher and very passionate about his subject. His lectures are fun at the start of the semester but can get dry as the semester wears on. He is very intelligent and is happy to answer any questions you may have. I thought the tests were quite easy and I didn't even read most of the time. Read and show up to class for an A

This teacher is extremely intelligent, interesting and has a great sense of humor. I learned a lot from him and enjoyed the class very much. Too bad more teachers there aren't up to his level.

Peron is awesome. He answered every question I had, had very interesting lectures, is fair, and applies concepts from the class to the outside world. He also sang "I'm my own grandpa" with acoustic.

he was bitter and didn’t teach on any subjects that were of relevance on the tests. his homework’s were a joke and the whole class time was always devoted to his own personal opinion.

A total phony! He's a nice enough guy, but come on, funny? No way, he tells the same tired stories every year... his niece's nose surgery, his buddy with an anthro "badge"... he has a very fake, insincere way of speaking. The class is easy as hell though.

He tells really good stories, but exams are based on reading, which he never mentions, at least in his archeology class.

Peron makes anthropology very interesting. He is really funny and he's not afraid to speak his mind! He gives great study guides before tests. Only four exams, no research projects or papers. He is a really cool guy, and he knows his stuff.
