He knew the material very well & answered all questions. Took the class online & the work wasn't overwhelming. BE WARNED he is a strict grader. Easier at the beginning but very nit-picky by the end. If the wording on writing assignments wasn't 100% perfect you would lose points. This was very frustrating to me, someone who is also a perfectionist.

Comment:
He's a very forgiving grader at the start of the semester, but as the semester progresses he becomes very strict with his grading, which is actually perfect. Students need generosity while developing a familiarity with the subject, but beyond that point his grading pressures students into doing well and into fully learning the information.

He's actually really clear if you pay attention and take good notes. All of his rants usually relate to something on the test. You learn the material through the text and through lecture, but your really tested on application. If you read and study and take advantage of the material it's interesting. He is a stickler about grammar.

Somewhat easy class. Grading started out easy, but slowly got more frustrating as to what he wanted out of case studies. You don't need to go to class, as he doesn't give any notes, but mostly talks and has movies. Need to go for the 40 ex credit points. Overall, not too bad of a class.

Mr. Alexander is a great teacher! He is passionate about psychology and he knows his stuff which makes it all the more interesting. I thought going into the course that it was going to be a hard class but if you do the homework, the readings, and pay attention in class it is impossible to fail. Really enjoyed him as a teacher!

Mr. Alexander really is a great teacher. I believe most of those who believe he isn't helpful really just don't pay attention in class. If you take notes on what he writes on the board, and read the text and online articles, as well as be in class and study you would do great. I enjoyed having him as a teacher.

Hard class to study for because he jumped around in the book. Went on random tangents during lectures just about everything he talked about in the class was on each test. His study guides are useless and don't help. Good class though he keeps you engaged in the lecture. The term paper for the class he graded harder than an English prof.

Instructors lectures are very boring, tests are worded for fail. Instructor grades on miniscule things unrelated to psych. He will grade you down for a comma in the wrong place. He takes attendance twice a class. Notes will not help you in this class, reading the textbook will barely help you due to the wording on the tests.

The overall content of the class is easy, but made difficult by this self absolved teacher who is by far the biggest stickler for mundane menial and completely irrelevant objectives. In his tests/quizzes he makes his bleak units seem more challenging by adding trick questions. If you are competent I would avoid this nuisance of a teacher.

I really liked Mr. A. He's a nice guy and a tough teacher. Which is good, you're there to learn and he's there to teach. And that's what he did. Over all, I really liked that class, and looked forward to going to it everyday. Those who didn't like him/his class, were probably slackers and didn't care much to learn. Mr. A made learning interesting.

Overall an easy class, but avoid this professor if possible. He has an annoying laugh, is demeaning, and a poor professor at that. He definitely picks his favorites. Easy course, but not worth the time of dealing with someone so full of themselves.
