Dr. Fischer isn't easy. But if you put in the work, it will show. His courses have made me a better writer and a stronger analytical mind. Don't come looking for an A - you're in grad school now, and he's going to make you earn that grade!

Comment:

I'm taking Dr. Fischer's class as part of the M.A. in Journalism. Dr. Fischer seems like a really nice guy, but he is not helpful with his classes. He gives very vague answers and when a professor sends out a mass email to students that says you didn't do the reading..."It shows," that is very disrespectful. I say this as a teacher myself.

Dr. Fischer is really nice. The tests are not difficult if you read your book and watch the videos, but they aren't easy either. The highest test grade I made was a 92 and the lowest an 84 so I made an easy B in this class without too much extra effort, but it would have been pretty hard to get an A.

soemtimes i think he is alot of hot air and b.s. but he is generally a nice guy and i think he is interested in helping students.but his tests are not easy.he also picks his favorites and you can tell.attend class and contribute to discussion.

He is a great instructor. For much of this class, we were on our own but he was always with us in case we needed assistance. I would definitely take him if you have the chance. He really cares about helping his students.
