Comment:

I took his once a week class, and attendance was mandatory. He WILL drop you if you miss more than one class. But honestly, if you just go and listen, it's pretty easy. His tests are multiple choice, and I got As on all of them. Kind of a pain we had to turn in an outside book report, but he gives you all quarter to do it. I recommend him.

Comment:

He will some times spot-check attendance by sending around the sign in sheet a 3rd time. The 45 min break in the middle of class is UNNECESSARY, a complete waste of time since the movie played is not required on any exams. He took of 2 pts frm my paper bcs he didn't like the grammar in the quote I used, which was from the author, not me. Ego!!

Can come off as a little mean but he is a great teacher. He is really into the subject & he teaches it like he is telling a story. One Book review, two multiple choice midterms and a final (same as midterms but half the questions)Attendance is crucial- Lectures are important to exams! he was an **** to me. my aunt died and he wasnt sympathetic at all. make sure to come to class at all times and dont ever fall asleep during the movie portion of his class. he doesnt take bulltshit so be prepared to do all work. especially the mandatory book review. yawn to this class . he can go you know what himself

If you don't like tests, don't take this class. There is nothing inbetween so if you do bad on the midterms there is nothing to back you up. No extra credit, etc. The quizes are confusing and I felt this class was hard.

He gives quizzes with multiple choice. Quizzes are very easy, however it's very hard to get an A unless if you have less than three mistakes. A reading report is required.
