I just finished Dr. Parker's interviewing course. I have to say, it was probably one of the best classes I have taken. It was offered during intersession and I learned more in that 14 days than I did over the course of some semesters. If you take your work to her to look over, she is very helpful. Be prepared to do a lot of work, but also to learn!

Dr. Parker is extremely intelligent; however, she does not give out A grades. I took her my assignments several times throughout the semester, she tells you what to change (because the assignment was not clear in the first place) and then gives you a B. She grades ridiculously hard and always wants further elaboration.

Dr. Parker DOES NOT give out A grades on assignments no matter how well you do.Everyone in the class gets B+, and the rare A-. Parker's assignment descriptions are very vague, and you WILL lose points on things not discussed. If you take this class, MAKE SURE YOU MEET WITH HER TO GO OVER THE ASSIGNMENTS. You have to perform nearly perfectly to receive a final grade of A. And I hate that phony smile she always has plastered to her face.

Dr. Parker is awesome. Don't get me wrong you can not slack off in any of her classes, but at least she gets you to learn. She is always willing to take the time to talk with a student.
