Took Latin 1 and Latin 2 back in 1985 with him. Quite proably one the best professors I have had. I still remember details o his classes as if they were yesterday, not 28 years ago.

Gives a lot of work (relative to what was expect for this class), is very knowledgeable and interested in the material, a fair grader; however, is very meticulous with the assignments and wants ppl to care about this nonsense as much as he does. Does not comprehend that ppl only take this class because it's a requirement, not because they want to!

he's very knowledgeable about greek mythology. class discussions are interesting and he jokes in class to make it fun. just do your readings and you'll do fine. he's very helpful and there when you need him if you have any problems in the class...he gives you a chance.

A very good professor who obviously knows what he's talking about. Tests are long but very fair because of the reivew sheets. Class is not the least bit hard, an easy A if you do the readings and come to class. Class participation helps out alot too.

Very nice man. Tough grader. Tough exams. Weekly quizes are easy but start to get annoying after a while. He does know quite the bit about about classics and subject. Makes the class less dull with some jokes and interesting side stories from the classics and other.
