Easy class. Lots of books to read, but the essays make you think about your responsibilities as a teacher and how you teach in the classroom. Good videos linking books to our experiences doing observations.

Too much busy work not enough lectures. If you want to learn, do not take him. Every other week you have a 3-page report due on books that contains over 300+ pages and you MUST read them so you can quote from them. You have to buy a total of 5 books, read them in less than a month, a group presentation, and no mid-term and no final. DO NOT take him

As a future teacher, this class discusses tons of stuff about teaching, learning, and students that you won't find in state standards that are important to know. The classroom combines videos of classroom learning, teaching, politics, and sociology combined with our own classroom observations that really illuminate the challenges our students face.

This is my third online class with the instructor. Lots of reading, but syllabus sets expectations. Videos and analysis of work is important for my field coordinating study abroad programs. Instructor is very knowledgeable.

Took the class online. Very unclear with directions. Does not reply to e-mails. Does not provide adequate feedback with assignments. Assignments are due at extremely odd times.

Took this class a long time ago, not sure if he still teaches it. Great professor but not the easiest. Class was long but the good thing is that he is really good to look at; so yummy!
