DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! Youve been warned. Idk how he has great reviews! He speeds thru one topic to the next and quickly erases the board without giving you a chance to write down the information. Hes SO BORING so its hard to retain any info. Dont waste your money. Find another professor! Save yourselves!

He was the best math teacher that I have ever had in my life. There were certain things that I have been taught since middle school and never understood until Professor Orsetti explained them to me. The way that he explains things just makes sense to me which is great.

Comment:

This is the best math teacher I have ever had. He genuinely wants his students to do well but he doesn't give out good grades. Very open to questions and doesn't make you feel dumb. I'm so sad I won't have him again, highly recommended!

Comment:

Dr. Orsetti is an amazing professor. I did not have a very firm handle math coming into his class, but Orsettit worked with me and I ended up passing. He is a very caring teacher, and tries to get the best out of his students. He's very approachable but he will make you work for your grade he is not a teacher you can get over on.

Lots of homework and very fast paced teacher but he explains everything very well and his main goal is to make the students understand the material. Pretty funny as well, he made class interesting. I wish I could take him for my next math class.

Let me start by saying, I HATE MATH. I loved Orsetti's class though. He went over homework daily and always stops to answer questions. He explains the reasoning behind math so that it doesn't seem as pointless as I used to think it was. I would definitely take him again. He is literally the best.

Comment:

One of the best professors I've had in any subject. Highly recommended. I took Math 113 with him in the Fall of 2015. Very clear and concise. I was out of school for about three years and my last math class was in 2008. I had a lot of trouble getting back into it. Professor Orsetti rejuvenated my confidence in math. You must attend class. Homework is not always collected, but is always reviewed. Quizzes are pretty much the same difficulty as the homework. His tests are fair. You are not going to see anything he hasn't taught you. His lectures are energetic and keeps you awake. I had the class at 8am by the way. It is unfortunate he does not teach the higher level math classes. You'll know what I mean once you get there. If you have the chance to take Professor Orsetti, do it.

I love math but Mr. Orsetti made math very interesting. He helped us connect the math we were doing with real world applications. His class is funny and I enjoyed waking up to go to the class. He is funny and interesting

Orsetti seems like a nice guy but can be quite pompous and arrogant at times. If you do badly on something it is always somehow your fault. Attendance is mandatory and homework collection is sporadic...be careful what you get into

I not only learned how to solve equations, but why we are solving equations. He makes math interesting, by dissecting each component of math giving it purpose. Otherwise 2 + 2 just equals 4. He tells you WHY
