Really really really hated the way she does her exams (individual MC, then group MC, then individual short answer). It made my grade suffer. Also class was pretty boring.

Terrible teacher, great person. Her lectures are hard to follow. She talks fast and skips around a lot. She hand writes notes and displays them with an overhead projector. Half the time you can't read her writing. She talks like she is reading out of an encyclopedia, and doesn't explain things well. Her jokes can be funny.

She's a terrible professor. None of her lectures relate to the material from the book. Also, if you disagree with her, she will make your grade suffer. Would not recommend taking this course, or any class with her.

Dr. Sullivan is a cute little old lady that knows what she is talking about. She obviously has lots of experience so she makes things easy to understand. not a hard class at all, you just need to show up and read sometimes. some busy work, but it's easy stuff.

I think Dr. Sullivan is a great teacher! I think she really enjoys talking about psychology. She is clear throughout the lecture and although some people think her jokes are dumb, i honestly found my self laughing out loud. I think she is a very sweet lady and makes the course relatable.

Class is easy, I winged every exam and did okay. The assignments are kind of a pain, but they're easy too. The only bad thing is that you have to be in class so many times to get a good grade. If you get 100% on every assignment/test but you never go to class, you'll get a C or D. She's boring but super nice and understanding.

This professor is, by far, the worst professor I have encountered. She is really mean and her print-off notes don't even make sense. I actually stopped going to lecture halfway through her unit and I have NEVER skipped class. She made terrible jokes about gremlins being in the ceiling. Yea. Point proven.

Lots of busy work in this class. No class discussion. Powerpoints or speakers. Read the chapters. Constructed tests from groups for multiple choice. Also gives a chance to discuss tests essay questions with group. Overall liked her.

I wouldn't take Sullivan again. If you're going to take PSY 212, take Caya. We had her as a sub for a week and she was MUCH more clear and entertaining in her lecture. Don't get me wrong, Sullivan's not that bad... fairly easy and she knows her stuff, but makes an annoying smacking sound during lecture and tells pointless stories.

I will never take this professor again. Takes attendance by having you turn something in at the end of class, I spent the rest of my time doing homework for other classes. She babbles about personal stories and talks too fast/annoying. Didn't learn anything. Easy A, never studied, everything is common sense and knowledge from introductory psych.

Sara is an "okay" professor. You really have to pay attention in class, take notes, and study hard. She can be kind of rude at times, and lectures occasionally get boring. She assigns MANY outside of class papers, videos, group projects, and other activities.

I had Dr. Sullivan for both PSY 100 and 212. She isn't very clear about assignments or what's on exams. But do the extra credit, because it can boost your overall grade by 5 percent!

She is a nice professor, but has a LOT of expectations. She has you write lots of papers and watch videos/do group projects outside of class. Stay organized and take notes and you will be fine. Also offers 5 PERCENT extra credit! That really helps! Its a ton of work but I learned a lot too

Overall, PSY100 was a good class. As a psych major, this professor made me consider switching to something else. At the review session, she didn't really answer anybody's questions. The powerpoints during her lecture are almost pointless. Many of the questions on her test weren't ever covered in class.

Boring. Everything we learn is "According to the research." Don't attend the review session because she is rude when students ask questions related to the class content or her exam. Rambles about anything not related to class. Expects students to know details to content that she will leave out in class (and of course not say it will be on the test)

Not sure what all these other people are talking about, she was a great professor! Attendance is not required, but go and take notes. Exams are based right off the outline, just study that. You really dont need to read the book. Very helpful, involved in other UWL things and over-all is a great teacher. Take her, do your work, and you WILL pass.
