Professor Beasley honestly made my entire first semester great even though I only had his class a couple times a week. He made everyone feel comfortable and there was no pressure, but definitely still had a lot of respect for him and the work. If you tried on your papers, you'll get an easy A. One on one grading for the big papers, loved it.

Beasley's class is easy. You're required to write a number of short papers, one book review (one half due at midterm other half due at final), and one longer (not really long just compared to the others) research paper. We never stayed the full class time. When he shows up the first thing he says is "Let's get out of here." Need an A? Take him.

Comment:

Best teacher ever. He's extremely funny. Never keeps you the full class and tells you exactly what he wants in your papers. sets up a private time to talk about your paper and give you a grade, which is more helpful than just getting back a paper with a lot of red on it. Tells you exactly what to work on next time and doesn't grade hard. Amazing.

For composition 1 he is the best. he explains what he wants from you. and there is no final exam or any exams you only need to make your assignment. He does a class before the assignment due to give him your first draft if you want, and he meet with students individually to discuss and correct their paper.

Loved having Beasley for Comp 1! Very rarely had class, but if we did it wasn't more than half an hour. Assigned meeting times to discuss papers one-on-one. You have quite a few papers and you get to pick what you want to write about so it was actually fun and interesting! Would definitely take again. Planning on taking for Comp 2!

You don't need the book. You just write papers every week and he schedules a "meeting time" where you come in and one-on-one he reads your paper and you two negotiate on a grade. Super easy. You do have to pick one book at the beginning and read it all the way through because you have two papers on it. But once again, they're easy.

Such a sweet guy and really interested in student success. He rarely has class and it never ran more than 20 minutes if he did. I really enjoyed the way he taught.

Beasley is literally my favorite professor. From the first day of class, I knew he was gonna be a good one. He is super funny and he relates to the class. Super laid back. We only go to class every other week, cause when we have essays, he sets a date for us to come talk about our paper and he explains your grade to you. I'm taking him for Comp 2!

Professor Beasley was a five star educator. We did have work, and the work was not easy, but it was not hard. This a great general education Composition course. I would recommend Beasley to anyone. Great professor, helped out students, and actually cared about you. Go to class and do good work you will have no problem getting the grade you want.

Beasley is hilarious. He makes the class fun and very interesting. We always got out of class early. His papers are very easy and you do not have a midterm or final test. He counts his papers as the grades. I loved him, but if you get offended easily, do not take him.

took him for comp I was very easy and lienent. as long as you came to class and particpated which isn't hard in his class its hard not to get a B or an A. 3 papers all semester and not longer than 3-4 pages was the longest. no final or midterm
