Her Old Testament class is fantastic. This is not an easy A. It is an easy C. Spend about an hour or so every week studying. I loved her lectures. She really cares for her students and is extremely respectful. I will be keeping in touch with her.

Comment:

Great teacher! I thought that class was going to be hard and boring but she proved me wrong! She makes the material easy to understand bc she reviews all the readings in class. She is very helpful! She always reminds you that if you feel you are struggling to see her to work something out. Amazing class!

Comment:

She is an AWESOME teacher. She made reading the Old Testament interesting and FUN. I looked forward to her class. Reading is mandatory because she does a "pop" quiz every week. She has a lot of interesting stories and she's funny. You can tell she's passionate about what she teaches and wants you to succeed. Everyone should take this class!

amaaazing class! thought it was going to be ridiculously hard but turned out to be my favorite class of the 4 I took that semester. learned so much & the way she teaches is amazing! DEFINITELY recommend to anyone!

Comment:

Mrs. Frisch is an amazing instructor. Whether you are new to the Old Testament or have read it before, she will definitely open your eyes on some of the subject matter. She provides a lot of historical findings and anthropology behind the stories, and she even speaks Hebrew. Keep up with the readings and journals and you'll do fine.

I absolutely loved her class! I needed it for a transfer requirement and I heard mixed reviews, but she's wonderful. I don't think the Tullock book is necessary, but the Old Testament bible is. Very easy as long as you do the assigned weekly readings, which are not long at all. I would recommend her to everyone.

This class is for anyone and everyone. I had very little knowledge of themes in the Old Testament, but with Prof. Frisch's instruction and the close readings we did, the old-world themes that occur in the Tanakh were very clear. Sondra is a lot of fun, and she helped me out a lot with my transfer process. Take her classes, they're very interesting!

I recommend this class to anyone interested in Humanities, especially to those interested in the studyof religion. The professor is very knowledgeable. She is also a very nice and understanding person. I highly recommend this class!

She is SO boring! she is nice person, but she is SO boring!! nothing against her personally, but she is SO boring!!! Every class she just reads out of the book the same chapters that we had to read as a homework.

She is such a wonderful and fun teacher. She mainly just reads from the Old Testament, but adds fun and interesting facts. Defanitly take her class if you are interested in Religion. You really do not need the book by Tullock. Just keep up on the readings and take notes. Her mid-term and final are a big part of the grade! A really good class!

Took her Bible class. She is a very nice person/teacher, cares about students. However, she is teaching the Bible from the progressive/politically correct/feministic/liberal approach. The only nice things about religion that she said was about Islam (she is VERY PC). I thought that was not fair. Otherwise - good class

She's an awesome teacher. I was going to take a different class and that teacher was horrible so, I decided to ask if Sandra would take me in. As soon as I talked to her I knew I wanted to be in her class. She treated me like a human, almost as though she was my mom or my grandmother. Very helpful, and very interesting in her lectures.

She is a very nice lady who is very knowledgable about the course material. She is always in class but the class is enjoyable enough if you do the reading. You really only need to but the Tanach and not the rest of the books. You only use the other four like one time apiece. I recommend this class if you need it.

Loved the class and did very well on all the assignments and tests, yet somehow I still got a B in the class. She is a really nice teacher though and does make it fun.
