I love Professor Sue! She is one of the best professors I've had during my first year at Montclair State. She is always willing to answer any question in and out of class. She has been very efficient with online work and keeps it very organized. She can be a tough grader but as long as you put in the work for this class, you will do well!

Professor Wright really care for her students. She is willing to sit down with you and help with any struggles that you may have in the class. Writing is not everyone's forte but with Professor Wright, you are closer and closer to becoming a better writer. She lets you know what you do well and what you can improve. She sees the potential in you!

Amazing teacher! Very easy to communicate with in and out of class. Very understanding. ATTENDANCE IS IMPORTANT!! Your grade will literally drop if you miss more than 2 classes and if you are late. Was very helpful in giving good feedback or if you had any questions pertaining to your writing. Tough grader, but the grades that given were deserved.

She is such a tough grader. So much work too, I could barely handle my other classes with her work. Attendance is such a huge part of your grade if you are late she will mark you absent, even if you show up and it will hurt your grade. I would not recommend her. I used to dread showing up to her class and she also gave out random pop quizzes.

As a person, she's nice and tries to make a joke every five minutes. She gives lots of help if you ask for it. The one thing I would say about her is that she has veryyyy high standards. You cannot slack off in this class at all. I've always been a great writer but she will put you to shame. I was very annoyed. You need to be patient.

Sue is a very nice woman. I liked coming into class, her lectures were always interesting. She is a TOUGH grader so don't expect any curves. You do 4 essays (one being a documented essay) and a final portfolio. She also gives a lot of pop quizzes so be prepared if she assigns readings. She cares for her students and wants them to succeed. Recommend

Sue is amazing! She is very helpful and cares about her students. She cracks jokes a lot. Sue does assign a lot of reading, but it is not busy work. She will give pop quizzes, so make sure you read. You will need the books she requires for this class. She enjoys class discussion, so be prepared to have something to say based on the homework.

Sue, Is amazing! Funny, hilarious, and has full respect for one of each student. I would take her again! She does assign tons of papers. But she helps you understand after you write it what needs to be fixed.

I LOVED SUE! best writing teacher i ever had! she is a firm but fair grader, she knows if you put a lot of thought and effort into your essay! she will always try to help you if asked, and she is very funny and friendly!

Writing classes are probably the hardest to do well in unless you have a good teacher like Sue. She may not give out A's and B's easily, she helps you to do the most you can with your ability in writing. Even if you can't but two words together, she will always give you a positive part of your wriiting. TAKE HER SHES GREAT!

Writing classes will most likely be anyone's most challenging class. Prof Wright is friendly, helpful, and clear. She is willing to help you if you ask. Like any other Writing teacher, don't expect an easy A. Her comments on your essays will help you do even better on your next. There's a lot of work and reading, but it's manageable. Take her.

Don't take her if you want a good grade. I've always excelled in writing classes, but her standards are impossible. She makes a huge deal out of things like MLA. She's a very nice woman but should be teaching English majors only. Not recommended.

She is a FANTASTIC, WONDERFUL, SUPERB professor! She taught me so much and her class is super easy if you just do your work. The work is even kind of fun because she keeps it interesting and up-to-date. Great sense of humor! You will DEFINITELY learn a lot, even just showing up to class. She cares about all her students! Excellent! Take her class!

Sue is a great teacher. She has a great sense of humor and always keeps class interesting. She is really understanding and always tries to help you out. The class is a lot of work though. She assigns an essay every few weeks, once one is done we start on another, but really interesting topics to write about. I recommend taking this class.

Note to freshmen: you'll probably get placed in her class, but she's worth it, and this is coming from someone who did poorly (but retook it and did well). If there's one class you want to slack off in, make sure it's NOT this one. She's not lenient, but has a great sense of humor and personality.
