Comment:
Through this class I looked deeper inside of myself and was amazed by the depth God placed in it. He carefully & sometimes courageously took us through the journey of throwing us into unknown but he was always there to catch us up & to let us see Him. I grew into more open minded human and my worldview was shaped by the conversations with Dr. Rim

Dr. Rim is one of Moody's most phenomenal teachers. He is a genius and will make you question why you believe everything the way you do. You need to dialog with him during your time a Moody. It is worth every second of your time.

He pulled me out of my stuper in a way no other prof did. I coasted through school their simply intent on getting my degree. Learning was for others, not for me. His class provoked me to seek answers to questions I didn't know I had. He was the most influential teacher I had at Moody.

Comment:
I was greatly challenged by Rim. He is very smart and is an excellent philosophy teacher. By far the best and most memorable class at Moody. I think he stands above the rest in his grasp of Scriptures. WARNING: do not take this class if you think you've got it all figured out or if you don't like to be challenged...

Wonderful prof. At times I was frustrated at the questions he made me ask myself but he challenged me like no other teacher I had and his class is the one I will remember forever. Great teacher

Dr. Rim though you will fail every test has such a huge curve you will come out with flying colors. If you have a chance to take him do it! He will challenge you and drive you crazy at times! But its perfect for learning! It is by far one of the more brilliant Moody Professors

Comment:
Rim is a smart yet unorganized and scatterbrained postmodernist. I would not recommend him for Intro to Philosophy for those who do not feel they have a decent grasp of the history of philosophy PRIOR to the class.... but for someone who has already studied it in general, he may pose an interesting new challenge to your thinking

Comment:
Despite the banter of many students, Dr. Rim is exceptionally clear. While he uses words and phrase many are unfamiliar with, he uses them consistently, coherently. As a result, you learn by immersion: pay attention, think hard and it will become clear by the end. I highly recommend him for students interested in academic philosophy or law.

He doesn't make Apologetics much clearer than it was before I started. Most of the class took philosophy 2 years ago or more and he expects us to remember most of it. He's super nice and easy to get along with, though.

He was hardly prepared everyday. He usually let us out about 30 minutes early everyday. He was pretty easy, but at times he was very deep. I appreciated the time I spent in his class even though it was off the cuff.
