She's always asking more of you, expanding your thinking beyond belief, but it's absolutely worth it because your writing WILL improve. Her sense of humor makes you look forward to coming to class, and she speaks so eloquently! I adore her, and I plan on taking more classes with her in the future!

Awesome teacher. It felt like sometimes going to class was a waste cause it was mostly discussion, peer editing, and doing things you could do outside of class but honestly Frisbie's personality makes up for it. As long as you put a little effort into your papers, you will do fine. Overall for a core class, very enjoyable.

Professor Frisbie is the best teacher I have had at SCU. She is very engaging and has a great sense of humor (she is also extremely intelligent and articulate). She IS challenging, but she is also happy to help; your writing will definitely improve with her assistance. Take a class from her if you get the chance!

She's awesome...really into what she teaches and always around to help. She even wrote me a rec'd letter after I graduated for a job application! We still keep in touch because she really cares. Warning...she is tough and expects a lot from you, but you feel good when you reach her expectations.
