The subject was actually amusing. I loved the topics we talked about. The intro to new concepts, but I wasted money on the book, and she had an attitude problem. She never called on me (with my hand up!) and I never got to share any of my ideas. I wouldn't recommend her.

didnt use the textbook at all and got 90s on the test. grades the papers to hard. do all your work and come to class and you will be fine. don't walk in front of her or out of the class. she doesnt like that. she will stop the whole class because of that. "she says its rude" cool teacher though. If you don't like to talk her class isnt for you.

She is a good professor. Shes full of knowledge but has trouble transferring it over to the students. I worked real hard, never missed a day and actually got an A. I would recommend her though because she knows what shes teaching.

her class was so boring.I would sneak out or not go so often. Seems like a nice lady but she made me hate sociology. Tests were pretty easy. Never paid attention and didn't buy the book and got 90s on them. I really don't recommend her because she will bore the crap out of you and make you dread going to her class.

This class is hella boring. She is unorganized but pretty much you have to really listen in order to pass the class. I think I wasted my money buying her book. I was gunning for a C n the class cuz I hated the class but she's cool as a person. I got a C+ in the class. I would only take her class ONLY if its mandatory for your major.

After reading some of the comments I have to say, the ones who didn't do well in her class didn't do the work required for the class. She is a very lenient professor and I enjoyed her classes. The reason the class was a little slow or boring is because students never did the reading which took away from the class.

She seems to be divided amoung opinions. In my class she gave quite a bit of work- 3 papers midterm and final which were mutilple choice and essay. I wish she gave us more time on the papers and was a little unoraganized with her timing. She is a good teacher very smart. She is boring, unclear on what she writes, and what she is talking about. Do not take the professor. She falls asleep in her own class. She is not helpful with anything. You would have more luck if a 5 yr taught you than she would.
