Comment:

Betsy is a great professor. Sometimes during lectures he gets off topic, but that makes it a little more interesting. He tells you exactly what to study for. Listen to him, study, and you'll pass. He's a funny guy and very understanding.

Comment:

This prof. has a ton of positive reviews on here, but I honestly I was not impressed. I found his teaching style to be chaotic and he would often tell random stories during the lecture and then just rush through the slides. He was also 15 min late to every lecture and lab and I just got sick of his lateness and lame jokes by the end of the semester

AP1+2 with Dr. Betsy. He is by far the best teacher I ever had. He blows all the professors at PSU out of the water. Hes smart, funny, very kind. He is passionate about the subject matter which is so contagious! Not an easy A have to study for it!! BCC is SO LUCKY to have a professor like him, any college would swipe him up in a second!!

He is amazing and caring professor. Attend his classes, prepare for tests and you will be good. He is very helpful!! Always gives a full review before the test. His lectures are busy and relaxing at the same time as he is very funny! Highly recommend!

I love this guy. Not an easy A, you need to put in some time. Great lectures and gives good feedback. Goes over what will be on exams. Great professor! 3 lecture exams and 5 lab quizzes.

I LOVE THIS PROFESSOR!! I TOOK BIO209 HE IS AMAZING! CARING, AND PASSIONATE ABOUT TEACHING, VERY HELPFUL. AFTER TAKING THIS CLASS YOU WILL NOT ONLY INCREASE YOUR KNOWLEDGE IN BIO! Comment:

Took this class in summer II, and I learned more in this class than I have ever learned before! Betsy is so smart, knowledgeable and really enjoys what he teaches, always has a smile on his face. This is NOT an easy class! You will have to work and study for your grade. Lecture exams have some tricky questions, you must Study!

Comment:

Obsessed with Dr. Betsy. He's always cracking jokes and overall makes learning fun. I was always able to remember notes from class just from analogies he made, which was super helpful for exams. Does require putting in effort but so worth taking a class with him, one of the best professors I ever had.

Comment:

Took the class during summer II. Overall the class wasn't hard, I would normally study the night of till exam time. He goes mostly over everything that will be in the exam/quiz, make sure to record this when he reviews. Some of the questions during exam were tricky/worded to confuse. Most importantly make a study group, at least to share reviews.

Lectures are power points. Goes over the necessary info. Makes up great ways to have you remember. If you can follow directions and study you will def pass. Class is never boring. Labs are good. Great sense of humor. Respectable. He definitely likes what he teaches. Knowledgeable and very military friendly. Very enjoyable class. Study his reviews!

Dr. Betsy is by far the best professor I've ever had in my 4 semesters. I took him for A&P 1 and 2. He is extremely smart and funny. He gives exactly what you need to learn and there are never any surprises on tests or quizzes. If you don't study or pay attention, you will not pass. If you do its an easy A, B. Typical. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!

He is a great professor I am already registered to take him again for A&P 2. He spoon feeds you all the information you need to pass his class. When he reviews the exams he is reading right from the test itself all you need to do is pay attention and the quizzes he normally gives for homework. You need to pay attention and take notes though.

Dr. Betsy is an amazing teacher for Anatomy. I took him over the summer and he ended up making the class super easy and helpful. He gives you exactly what will be on the exams and quizzes. As long as you study the notes, this class is a breeze. He also tells a lot of funny stories and shows interest in the material. Take him!

The course itself is hard and has a lot of information but he always reviews for his exams and quizzes. Study and you'll definitely pass his class. You don't need the textbook but you will need the lab book. He's a great professor, he always looks to help you out just don't abuse his kindness.

Professor Betsy was hands down, the best Anatomy professor. He made me look forward to going to his lectures every morning because they were interesting and involved. His tests reviews are exactly what will be on the test itself, and there was no surprises. On the other hand, for students who rarely show up to class, you will not pass.

He almost always dismisses early especially from lab. Lab is supposed to be two and a half hours ussually only makes you stay for one hour. The class covers a lot of meterial so you will need to work hard and study in advance.

I took A&P in the summer and it was overall a good class. IF YOU DONT PAY ATTENTION AND DONT STUDY YOU WILL NOT PASS! Plain and simple. He does not use the text book only lab book. I bought the book he wrote which helped. But his exams are straight from his power points. He is funny but sometimes loses focus and goes on rants about random things.

He is probably one of the worst professors i have had. He does not care about his students or whether or not you pass his class. He makes rude and racists comments, and is always talking bad about the other professors. Does not stay on topic during lecture. He gives 3 tests for lecture and that is all you are graded on. I loved this man. He made summer A&P I super bearable. His tests are straight from the lecture notes and tells you exactly what to study. He makes hard material easy to understand. He goes off on tangents and tells funny stories for a majority of the class, but that made it fun. I wish i could take him for A&PII
