He's the kind of guy that speaks in a monotone voice but everything he says is either fascinating or hilarious. His firstyear seminar has lots of field trips, and our class discussions covered pretty much everything. Really down to earth and personable.

Comment:

Tom is such a good listener and doesn't seem annoyed to be hearing what must be the same student concerns day in,day out. He helped me re-think my decision about transferring first semester,now three and a half years later on graduation, I am so grateful. He's very friendly,plus he's really cute (love the beard). Don't be afraid to ask for help!

Tom is one of the best professors I know. He is in tune with the class and laid back. It is a very open and free class and there are discussions on every topic without embarrassment. Easy grader and his class is real fun!!!

I think Tom Ridell is a great professor. I always learn from his classes in a very interesting way as we always had vistors, watched movies and went on feildtrips. Also, he's the sweetest and very comfotable to be around.
