Work heavy, but she's one of those teachers that makes you earn your grade. Attending office hours for feedback, she's very easy to reach. Sometimes feedback seems harsh, but she really wants your work to improve, and will call you out on stupid things in a paper to make you a better writer. You know she wants you to improve, and youfeel respected.

Tracy is a great professor and truly wants to see her students succeed. You will do well in this class if you take good notes and listen in class. Very kind, understanding and helpful.

Great professor and is passionate about what she teaches. The difficulty level in her class is exactly what you should expect in college. The essays are long but she will give you exact guidelines on her expectations. She does not get a 5/5 from me because: 1) her attendance policy is strict and 2) she comes off snobby about her beliefs and self.

Tracy is an amazing professor she really cares about her students. She is also a very tough teacher she wants you to do deep thinking and really connect everything throughout the semester. If your up for a little challenge this is a class for you. :) Sad I'm no longer an education student so I won't be in any more of her classes

She is by far the best professor I have ever had. I was frustrated because this class requires lots of outside work, and it was hard finding time with my work schedule (15 hrs tutoring, job shadowing, etc) but I learned so much from her. She truly cares about your success. Tests are all essays and you can use notes. She is fabulous!

I hate that there are bad reviews for Tracy, because I think she was wonderful. She actually makes you learn the content and does it in a unique hands-on way. The tests were tough, so study. I'm already planning on taking sci3030 with her because I liked her class so much!

She knows what she is teaching, but she makes the class difficult to get a good grade and understand the subjects. Also, she taught me how NOT to become a teacher. She feels superior than the students and she makes you feel stupid.

Tracy is a hard teacher yes, but her love for watching her students succeed is what makes her push you. She gives you feedback and help if you ask for it. Believe me, don't be afraid to ask. I specifically took this class with her because I knew it would make me a better teacher.

I absolutely loved this class! It was my favorite one. She teaches everything in a unique, hands on way to help get the point across so then we truly understand. Before tests, she lets us have a review day in which we create our own study guides and the only things on the test is from what we created. She is friendly, helpful, and understanding!

She will literally kill your love for education. Way to many assignments and not enough time to do them. Admitted to our class that she's the professor that assumes you have no life or other classes but hers. Didn't learn anything because I was so overwhelmed finishing projects.

Class is tough. TONS of assignments that take a lot of time. Have to create a Unit Plan for this class that has 10-15 lessons in it and it sucks big time. She is rude and a hard grader. I'd avoid her and go with another teacher.

Smart professor, but treats her students like they are inferior. Doesn't value personal opinions or students who disagree with her teaching methods. VERY disagreeable, and calls students out if they are incorrect. Did NOT enjoy being in her class. Made her students feel stupid.

Really helpful and understanding. She is a very personalble teacher and is very motiviated to help educated teachers. She knows her material and is able to explain it to you, with reason and ways to apply it. She steps off the instructor level, and will talk with you as a person, mother, and as a teacher.
