Such a great professor! He helps you in his class and other classes, the best professor I've had my first semester. He genuinely cares for us and wants to help us later on as well. Just do what you're supposed to and you'll do well in the class

Twister is a gift to humankind. He is personable with his students, loves talking about current issues and things that matter to those in the class and then tying it back into his subject material. He is the type of professor who really cares about how you are doing and wants you to enjoy the class, not just take the class.

Twister is very understanding and personable. He makes funny jokes and tells crazy stories. He's very knowledgable and eager to share the knowledge with his classes. Each story he assigns is fun, interesting and hardly ever boring. Be prepared to talk about the stories! His fun energy is contagious and you won't regret taking his class!

Twister is an amazing professor. He cares so much about his students and really knows what he is talking about. This was probably the best class I've taken so far in college, and he is one of my favorite professors. He is helpful in, and out of the classroom. If you get the chance to take a class with him I would highly recommend it!

Best teacher ever, Hallarious and very helpful, subjects were interesting and he was always cracking a joke....we sometimes watched you tube to lighten the 930 am mood. But he always connected the videos or stories he told to the class discussion. Extremly smart....and funny. Very symbolic character. Will help you out...go by the office

It's been about 7 years since I took an English class. He's extremely helpful! Email him, come by his office, and participate in class and he'll jump through hoops to get you to write well. He focuses on improvement rather than averaging grades. If you slack and expect last minute help, expect a nasty email. TAKE TWISTER!

Twister is an awesome teacher. Very funny. I look forward to his class because he makes things entertaining. Very helpful and encouraging when it comes to the papers he assigns. He is willing to look over your paper until you feel like it is 100%. I highly recommend Twister in any class.

It is SO easy to get a good grade with this guy! Just do *some* work, act like you care, & go see him. He wants you to do well, so he'll bend over backwards. It's not a free ride, but it's easy to get lots of help (especially if you act like you want to be his friend), & it doesn't suck near as much as other writing classes. Work it, baby!

Best english teacher EVER! This was the only class I actually looked forward to this semester. You have to read stories, usually they're interesting, and write like 5 papers but he gives you all the guidelines to make an A and you have lots of chances for peer revision! Hes funny, too, and a fair grader.

Really good teacher! He was funny, he was knowledgeable but totally not pompous about it. He knew about a lot of stuff happening in the literature world, which I found extremely interesting. He was an absolute joy as a proffessor, but you gotta work for it...no free rides! If you meet with him often he will do anything to help you.

Took him for short story. Even though I felt that the class was incredibly easy, I felt like I learned alot as well. Twister does a good job of balancing being a nice guy and actually teaching you something. Very intelligent.

Twister kicks ass. Re-write your essays for a higher grade. He will give you a much lower grade on your first paper than he knows you deserve so that he can make sure you revise. Tells great stories, is great help with anything English OR life related!
